I dont like how Thibs plays some guys the entire 1st/3rd quarters and then leaves them in for the first 4-5 minutes of the 2nd/4th too. They get gassed and thats an injury waiting to happen.

He did this with Donte last night. Played him 42 minutes in a back to back, and while be balled out in the 1st and 3rd quarters he was noticeably tired during the 2nd and 4th quarters when he started missing more.

Thibs always amazes me with his rotations. If he wants Donte to play with the bench more with Julius out, then actually give him a little rest late 1st/3rd quarters so he’s not out of damn breath.

A late first round pick or second round player in their third or fourth year develops into a solid contributor and maybe even exceptional one in the rotation. Or any young player developing into an impact contributor.

Said about just about any other coach who has been there for their short young career : Great job at developing them. Knows what they are doing with those kids.

Said about Thibs : Why was he holding them back!!! He hates young players!!! He has no clue!!!

Utah is giving up 132 PPG over their last six. Having said that, they have the #2 best offensive rating since January 1st. To make this simple - they prefer a shootout and enjoy winning that way.

From December 21st to Jan 15th they went 12-2.

Gonna be honest I have no clue what version of that team is showing up tonight.

They didn't scare me last season either. If we were healthy we would have beaten them. I cannot stand how they get away with murder though. It's all game every game.

There's no switch for Miami this year. They have some structural flaws. We're not going to see that same magic. If the Knicks grab the 3rd seed and hold onto, I'm expecting the Pacers, and I don't think that style of play is going to have much bones in the playoffs. I could be wrong, of course, but they're going to be tested and tested hard.

Miami, Indy and Cleveland all will probably be comparable in the playoffs. No easy outs. I'd still prefer the 2nd seed to get the 7th seed in the 1st round and to get home court advantage in the 2nd round and then, hopefully, face Boston in the ECF.

Is OG going tonight?
