As much as I flip out about minutes, I know the last two or three games he did play some of the bench guys more minutes than he was during that injury riddled stretch. Cutting Deuce was still stupid but, I have to hope he he realizes we can't sustain the long haul burning out the starters.

We need to preserve iHart from here out. All of the starters need a reduction in mpg honestly. He needs to find that balance. 40-44 mpg every night is ridiculous. 35-38 is where the hard line needs to be. Tighten it up in the playoffs of you want but, even then he needs to learn to play the matchups/hot hand more than his cookie cutter habits. We have depth that he needs to trust more.

It really is my only major issue with him. It drives me to close to the edge at times but, when players are dropping like flies it's hard not to be upset about it. His offense is is weak and the lack of respect for 3pt shooters on defense can be maddening at times but, he gets enough wins to overlook it when the team is full strength.

Hopefully tonight we can pull off a miracle because, I hate losing!!!

some games they go long. we like winning and have tried to win some games shorthanded lately. but it is not even mathematically possible for the state of things to be as you say.

it took til like game 2 or something of the playoffs.. i don't know if i can credit him for that.

You people can continue to lie to each other but, he ran dudes into the ground and we had a rash of injuries to go with it. These are facts. Stop coming at me with BS because we all saw it and I'm not the only one to comment on it. We lost Mitch, he ran iHart ragged. We traded for OG and he ran him ragged. We lost Randle and OG and he ran Precious/Hart/Brunson/DDV ragged. We lost DDV right before the break. If it wasn't for the break we could have seen even worse consequences.

These are facts. We lost Mitch/Randle/OG/Grimes/Brunson/DDV/iHart at one time or another during that stretch and limped into the break on a 4 game losing streak. Losing 4 of the last 5 games at that point. Hart was barely holding on. He calmed down somewhat the last few games. Before that he was an absolute maniac. Facts.

Or he played em heavy mins to prepare em for the grind of the playoffs and is now resting em for that home stretch.

This is terrible news. Brunson/DDV/Hart/Precious 44 minutes incoming!

Brunson/Burks
DDV
Hart
Precious/Boj
iHart(limited)/Sims

Sims should get a lot of minutes in this game.

he can guard KP for 20 mins even with 39 C degree fever

Hard to imagine us being competitive vs them because we can't guard perimeter big men. KP/Horford kill the funnel.

We will need someone other than Brunson to be waiting in the paint to take charges from Tatum/Brown and we need the refs to make the correct calls.

Our defensive effort blitzed Philly in that first half and the last half of the 4th Quarter.

Not saying Boston is equivalent to Philly, but every one of our guys is playing hard nose ball so any team that is not geared up for that can get taken.

I just don't know the recipe for defending the paint if KP/Horford hit 3's at a 35% clip.

No McBride hurts but we might make it a close one. Precious defensive agility might negate the KP foundation so much of the BOS offense is built upon

Gotta set a cap on minutes for players or else we won't have anyone left come playoffs.

Nah, Thibs can’t be held accountable for those injuries. Guys popping out shoulders and breaking their feet isn’t on Thibs. That said I want starters playing less to keep them fresh and particularly when we have blowouts he keeps them in too long. Hart now, doesn’t need 44 minutes, Bogd should take 5+ of those minutes.
