Those were huge misses. We really needed Bogey and Burks to make the open ones and we would have had a chance. The two of them were momentum killers

To get the team healthy Thibs needs to pull a groin muscle at a team dinner and miss two weeks.
Then we‘ll all be rested. Only fair.

Not a great analogy but even the Heatles took a year to win big

It's hard to win period. But when faced with Adversity my bet is with the Knicks.

And fully healthy the also Knicks have 5 really good starters... Last I checked 2 Allstars, one should have been a starter. Not one but (2) DPOY candidates...Potentially superior defense overall , superior depth, and superior heart.

Yes

As a Knicks fan, I think our grit is an underrated factor. With health, it makes us a problem for any team. I'd actually like to play the cHeat and beat them to prove that point.

As much as I want that to happen, I am not convinced the Knicks will get out of that series unscathed. We might win the battle but then lose the war due to injury. They always seem to hurt one of our guys even when we win.

He took a lot of wide open shots too. Oddly enough the few times he drove and pulled up, he made them and even got an and-one. Then he just started shooting 3s within the flow of the game and couldn't hit one.

"We will be a title contender when all of our players are healthy" is the new "We will be a title contender when we sign Lebron, KD, Wade, Kyrie, etc"

When will we finally be able to say that we are contending for a title?

Yeah that was infuriating. I really want Bojan to be an offensive spark for this squad because i know how good he can be when he gets it going, but it's not happening right now.

:nonono: i feel bad for even hyping my guy up after the trade, and he's not delivering right now.

I own it though. I was wrong about the trade. Sorry team.

Bogs is going to look way way better when we get our starters back.

LMAO, what? The regular season isn't the playoffs, and a team that won 11 in a row is bound to lose, you can't be serious.

And what have the Celts done in the playoffs? And why are you so quick to bow down to them?

They've made the ECF several times and the finals, they are battle tested, everyone in their starting 5 outside of Kristaps has played in a finals :banghead:

Bow dow? They are having a dominant season, some of you have to get out of this Knicks bubble and check out the rest of the league, they're 48-13.

They're beatable and when healthy we were equally dominant without Mitch.

I actually think we should be angling for 6th to be honest, I know I know we shouldn’t get cute being anywhere near the play-in but I think it’s more beneficial in the long run if we aren’t finishing in the top 2-3 to stay on the side the bracket that doesn’t play Boston until ECF

My expectations for the season has def been lowered…
Just hoping we can get healthy, avoid the playin, get out of the first round….then take it from there.

The clock is ticking and it’ll take time for the injured to get back up to speed.

Not worried about the standings right now, we're going through injuries and we can easily climb back once they're back.

Nobody is scoring on the #1 defense in the NBA once OG and Mitch are back, and Randle to help out Brunson scoring too will be a big boost. Then Bojan as a 6th man scoring against the opposing teams bench.

Gonna be easy climbing back up the standings.
