Hmm. If I recall Scotty Brooks' offensive philosophy was pretty dogsh*t
That may be true, but what is JJ's offensive philosophy? Or what will it be when he develops one?

I don't think that's what "fcuked" the Lakers cap. Even LeBron, they were already over the cap without his contract on the books
The 3rd and actual way to explain it is, the Lakers were "fcuked" no matter what, so they're paddling as hard as they can to stay afloat and maintain relevance for at least a couple more years.
The Lakers gave POs to Hayes, Redish, and Wood. And all picked it.
Besides, they gave a 3 year contract to Gabe and now gave a 4 year contract to Max.
And they are barely rotation players...
Scam Reddish is finally living up to their name

I heard LeBron got 1M less than his max to compensate.

Once LeBron retires Bronny will be out of the league.

Idk Klutch is going to be around for a while and Klutch is basically Lebron’s agency. Everyone says he is going to be a team owner and I think he is going to just “buy in” to klutch and just run it with Rich Paul

I genuinely don't know. Not just because I expect LeBron to part-own a team, but I think the kid might be a credible role player at some point as long as his health holds.

The Post reports it’s a 4 year, $8M contract. It starts at $1.2M the first year and escalates to $2.48M in the 3rd year, which is a team option.

GSW trying to protect Wiggins by not allowing him to play in the Olympics but the Bucks are fine with their biggest asset in Giannis playing, even though he missed the entire playoffs and coming off an injury. I would block him from playing if I'm Milwaukee. Kinda glad Brunson and co. gets to heal up this summer instead of playing for Team USA.

I don't know if the comparison is quite right. Team USA does not need Wiggins at all, he would be like the 10th man or something. For Giannis, playing for Greece in the Olympics is an entire different thing and he is of utmost importance to them.
I also believe that ultimately Giannis is making that decision 100% by himself, Milwaukee likely has no say in it (they wouldn't dare to prohibit Giannis from playing in the Olympics if he wanted to). Also keep in mind that Giannis basically missed the final 2 weeks of the regular season and entire playoffs so he played like 1-2 months less than he usually does. For him it was likely a no brainer to participate in the Olympics. Actually, after having won a NBA title already I wouldn't be shocked if winning the Olympics had higher priority for Giannis than winning a second NBA title. Don't underestimate the importance of the Olympics for these players, especially the international players.

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/276542/Mavericks-Offered-Three-Year-$27-Deal-To-Derrick-Jones-Jr
So Derrick Jones apparently declined the Mavs 3year/27mill. offer in order to accept the slightly bigger Clippers' offer of 3years/30mill. Keep in mind a team he was an integral part of, made the finals while averaging close to 30minutes per game in the playoffs and being a great fit next to Luka and Kyrie. ---all for a "mere" 1 million per year more.
And some people here complained about Isaiah not leaving 11mill. per year on the table to remain with us.
