Nope. He’s not that good and there’s a reason he was a filler for the KD trade but keep on thinking the knicks won something in this trade. Maybe it will happen.
Not that good for Y'all

But he was good the year prior playing for the Spurs. We have culture and great coaching going for us. We boosted up Precious Achiuwa and Im sure Thibs can do the same for the guy he originally picked.
PS. Thanks for allowing us to fleece you for Mikal.

These deluded Nets fans seem to think because a player wasn't able to perform for their garbage ass team with trash culture it's the player's fault. As if MB having a down year last season was him, not the franchise letting him down.
All we have to look at is how much better most of the role players the Knicks acquire perform once they are in the Knicks culture, such as Precious and Divo, than they have before they got here. There have been some outliers to this, such as Reddish and Obi so it's not an always situation.
Either those types of players didn't live up to the culture or they didn't have a role in the system. Cam still is wasting his potential and Obi found a system more suitable to his skillset but his skillset wasn't suitable to the Knicks system.
KBD is a role player, probably just a minutes eater during a long season to help keep players more crucial to the rotation fresher while not being a complete liability to the team's success. He possesses the skills that Thibs values so likely will find a role in his system.
Nets fans being super salty and sucking copium so hard in every way possible, they should just be happy their franchise finally picked a direction and getting picks, including their own back, this off season. They should just be sweating the lottery balls, not sweating balls over this trade.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
