This was a coaching lost sprinkled in with Bridges and Deuce's defense.

The entire team did not play defense. The team is not well coached. Led by Josh Hart being the new Randle letting every single guy he’s guarding have a career night. Led by Thibs double everybody protect the paint defense.

Knicks have a Bridges problem. To give the Nets all them first round picks for a guy that was dubbed a very good defender and he cant stay in front of his man or get over picks. His shooting is hit or miss. You cant make that trade unless you know your getting a star caliber player

He is a good-elite team defender.

We’re not playing defensive schemes to put him in position to bring out his strengths.

How can you when your coach willingly plays drop coverage on a team that shoots 3’s?

Bridges along with most of our players aren’t being put in position to play great, your weaknesses will be exposed consistently when that happens, it’s that simple.

Thibs is the answer, solution and problem for our troubles.

It has been a trend. Thibs’s team usually start slow and finish strong.

It's still early and things can still be turned around but to people that previously or currently support Thibs what do you see in him that makes you think he is a great coach or the right coach for this team? Every time that poll comes out with players saying he is the coach they least want to play for so many posters come out to defend him. Why?

Big problems: Thibs lack of confidence in his bench. No cohesion on perimeter defense. Non-existent rim protection.

Can't do anything about Thibs. It's what he's been doing his entire coaching career. The other two problems IMO will be solved when Precious and Mitch return.

I think its way too early to be having those convos.

Nothing we do in the regular season matters anyway. We could win 60 games and if we do get to conference finals at minimum it would be all for not.

Another year having bench players Thibs don’t trust. I’m starting to lean being on the side of Donte. Asked to put your body on the line only after it took Thibs forever to trust you only after making trades and injuries. Then trade you immediately.

Beyond Tom, Mikal has been wildly disappointing, if you're going to get killed on defense at least be an offensive threat. But he's not even that, he's been dreadful and all those middies he takes are because he cannot make threes with any sort of consistency right now.
