And Shamet....I was ready to say this dude was completely cooked on offense. Once again he started out not being able to hit the side of a barn, but he surprised me and kept his head up.

Once he finally hit that corner 3 it seemed like the floodgates opened. Quick cuts to the basket for easy layups , and no hesitation on his pullups. I hope this game is the one to unlock him. Because he was already doing his thing decently on the other side of the ball.

Towns getting his 3 back is the difference between between the team being good and very good.

You correctly calling the outcome of this game is the difference between your predictions being horrible and very putrid :D

Then we can start building that chemistry to get ready for the playoffs. Fun time to be a fan. This is way better than anything I have seen since the turn of the century. Let's go Knicks.

That would be 4-1 without OG. I told people not to panic, let him come back after the all star break

Pacers aren't the Celtics, nor the Cavs, nor the Thunder.

Nor the Hornets or Pistons. 8-)

Nor the Nuggets nor the Bucks nor the Grizzlies nor the Rockets nor the Magic. Btw, which team went undefeated this season so far? Carry on.

Best record after 53 games in forever. They don't work at all together.

This will be our best record at the all star break since 1997. They’re both starting in the all star game. Surely the front office is looking for the best way to unload them both for draft picks

Can't believe Thibs actually trusted the bench over Mikal/Brunson who just didn't have it tonight. Well I will give him 50% credit. His hand was forced with JB and his fouls. At least we know both of them will be rested for tomorrow's game.

JB and KAT can work together. There needs to be a concerted effort to get them into 2 man game situations.

Sometimes they do..certainly during stretches earlier in the season. But yeah Brunson gets tunnel vision sometimes and doesn't see Towns. I'm sure he'll work on that though - just give it some time.

It really boggles the mind how much people trash this team and complain every damn day. I admit I go in on Thibs over the top but, this team is better than anything we have seen in 25 years! The roster is loaded with more talent than we have seen in that time span. We have had more success in the last two and a half years than we have in that time span. It still isn't good enough? Whatever.

As much as I have my doubts about the HC, I still think we have a championship level team that may need some depth to get them over that hump. I am not counting us out this season at all but, I think we are in the hunt for the next few years if we play our cards right. That's all any team can hope for in this league. We haven't had this much potential in over two and a half decades. What is wrong with people?

I swear he had like 10 layups that were on plays all so identical I can’t even really separate one from the other he just ran a layup drill and dominated around the rim

without turner they have zero rim protection. You can go into the paint and no your shot wouldn't be contested. KAT and Hart just lived in the paint off drives.

You can argue our rim protection without Mitch is severely hampered as well

If the Mitch impact is close to what I HOPE it will be we could contend THIS year.

I guess we will see.
