Exacrly. Thibs isn't coaching offence. He's letting hisbstars do what they will a la Warriors but he doesn't have the natural ball movers GSW has.

Getting Mikal Bridges some downhill touches early needs to be a common gameplan. It feels like he has a different energy when they get him attacking defenses.

OG is back to his early season level, a borderline All-Star.

its almost like getting someone involved early gets them more confident and focused in the game.

I'm a big advocate of Brunson not dominating the ball so much but they have had some games with great ball movement with Brunson on the court also. They had 40 assists with balanced scoring in the starting 5 against the Kings last time. The offense does tend to get stagnant in tougher matchups. The perimeter defense is clearly better without Brunson though.

It was nice to be able to put Deuce on Monk, Mikal on Lavine and OG on DDR and not feel as vulnerable even with KAT as the back line of defense.

So is it the Knicks playing better or the Knicks matchup well with the kings which makes the offense easier to get going?

I need to see this sustained for a while for me to think this is a legit change

34 assists and 40 3PT attempts hit at 55% clip. So beautiful. With a more creative offensive coach we could see this every night.

Would like to see Brunson get back to using his superhero power to get his teammates more involved in the offense. Cap'n Clutch can easily get his when the teams need his scoring.
