Yep he never holds Brunson accountable. Because his dad won’t let him. Leon issue. Need to fire Rick so Brunson can be coached

To be fair Thibs did the same with Randle. He tends to let his star players do whatever they want. Thibs is a big tough guy with everyone else though.
Exacrly. Thibs isn't coaching offence. He's letting hisbstars do what they will a la Warriors but he doesn't have the natural ball movers GSW has.

I knew we hadn't blown a 15+ point lead this season but didn't realize the streak was that long.

Against OKC, we blew up a 14-point lead.

Getting Mikal Bridges some downhill touches early needs to be a common gameplan. It feels like he has a different energy when they get him attacking defenses.

OG is back to his early season level, a borderline All-Star.

Hart shot the three when Valanciunas was parked in the paint instead of guarding him. It's a lovely sight.

the streak lives! we've definitely "blown" 15+ leads for sure during that streak - just they ended up winning the game.

I saw that too. We basically doubled the lead after that
So we found the secret recipe to beat the Cavs, Celts and Thunder. We just need to make a 15+ point lead during the game.

i think if we get a 15+ lead against any of those teams the streak would definitely be at risk of ending lol

its almost like getting someone involved early gets them more confident and focused in the game.

Confidence matters.

JayTWill wrote:I'm a big advocate of Brunson not dominating the ball so much but they have had some games with great ball movement with Brunson on the court also. They had 40 assists with balanced scoring in the starting 5 against the Kings last time. The offense does tend to get stagnant in tougher matchups. The perimeter defense is clearly better without Brunson though.

It was nice to be able to put Deuce on Monk, Mikal on Lavine and OG on DDR and not feel as vulnerable even with KAT as the back line of defense.

So is it the Knicks playing better or the Knicks matchup well with the kings which makes the offense easier to get going?

I need to see this sustained for a while for me to think this is a legit change

Coaches normally avoid confronting their star players. Have you ever seen a coach yell at Lebron?

A win for the day keeps the trolls away.

Nice reading a post game thread that's not just 15 pages of a couple of salty KAT haters wanking each other.

Great win!

34 assists and 40 3PT attempts hit at 55% clip. So beautiful. With a more creative offensive coach we could see this every night.

Would like to see Brunson get back to using his superhero power to get his teammates more involved in the offense. Cap'n Clutch can easily get his when the teams need his scoring.

Looks like we made a visit to WING STOP last night! Our wings each had 8 assists and OG had 5 (FIVE) steals!

Good analogy. Rick is Lebron and he’s got Jalen Bronny and his overpaid pals from the mean street posse out here chucking all game at the expense of team basketball. Nepotism is ruining the nba.
