This is on the frontend of a B2B. How is this a schedule loss?

The team is playing a 2 game (B2B) road trip after being on the road on the west coast for almost 2 weeks and flying back for one home game. The scheduling makes zero sense.

they needed us to fly to San Antonio first after the WC trip then come home

to have us fly home to play a game and then next day get on a flight back to a far away location is brutal.

Jet lag...

Beat on the boards 52-44 an lost by 15 -- but it was all the 3pt difference. They made 5 more 3's in TWO less shots. Need DDV.

do you know how many miles they traveled on a plane in the last week

to then get back to NY for one game....and fly out again to a far location?

it has nothing to do with minutes...they didn't seem to have there legs under them early...

Portland/LA trip back home for 1 game in NY to then fly to Texas?

you don't think that is a bit impactful?

And now back to Charlotte. It is a crazy schedule. But still gotta find a way.

yeah I mean I get it as well...its the spurs and we need to find a way.

14 consecutive missed shots in the 1st qtr
Mamu having one of the best games in NBA history for a bench player.

They made a couple runs to bring it to 8 but it didn't seem like they were interested in putting enough effort to win tonight...and they already have to work so much harder than nearly every other team because of the coach they play for makes offense or defense no easy.

It'd be easier to "find a way" with a bigger rotation

or just rotations that make sense

Hart and Precious can't play together and they continue to play together.

He simply doesn't stagger correctly

I blame Buzz for not putting the time
BAF Clippers: Great Team. No Future.
PG: SGA | Coleworld
SG: Big Ragu | Podz
SF: Kuminga | Thybulle
PF: KAT | K. Williams
C: BroLo | D. Sharpe

Deep Bench - Merrill | Craig | Reath | Saric | Lowry

Yeah no kidding. Towns got his 32 and they probably should have fed him even more

Nobody else on this team scores reliably. And I mean nobody. Slow G always hits the front rim. Bridges is a basket case. Hart, I don’t even know what to say. Call 911. The entire bench is painful to watch. McBride did his best I guess.

Or players that aren’t bad? We should have consolidated for a bench scoring option at the deadline

Diehards get to see all these batsh*t examples of Thibs lunacy. I mean I get it when the scrub hits one, don’t switch. Two, ok sure don’t switch. Three of three, hey maybe we switch. Four of four, literally every other coach breathing air adjusts. But 7 for 7 pick and pop without a switch??? Literally Thibs and only Thibs. Nobody else.

But you know what? That’s not where the game was lost. We went down 30 in the first half with no effort, sloppy as hell on both ends.

We’ve been skating by with terrible ball movement and gut-check iso from KAT, Mikal, and OG. It’s ugly as hell and can’t go far unless we learn to defend, move the ball, and create easy buckets.

We saw glimpses earlier in the year but this team lacks a consistent orchestrator and movement away from the ball, which is a major problem when you also lack rim protection.

Yeah I fault Thibs for those bad combinations as well as not playing enough guys. But the FO has to take some blame for assembling a bench lacking offensive punch along with size.

This team is really bad
There’s no defensive identity
The only time the Knicks have a clue is when Mitch is there manning the paint. Everyone can hold down their natural position
This idiot coach plays Hart way too many minutes

In order to win this needs to be the starting lineup
JB Mikal OG KAT Mitch
Or
JB deuce OG KAT Mitch where you can bring Mikal and Hart off the bench

This sh** isn’t that hard
It’s time to start the two big lineup and send Hart to the bench

Embarrassing. This is not a team that can turn it on and off, we should never give away games when we haven't accomplished a damn thing.

Random but did we play zone for one possession in the 4th? Sure looked like it. I think castle hit a deep 3 on the possession if I remember correctly.

Front office blame should be for putting together a roster that doesn't fit the coach at all. I still don't believe for a second thibs actually wanted Kat. There's no way. The roster itself has issues but they are exacerbated by the coach.

I hope they are smart enough to realize it and move on from thibs, or pivot and make drastic changes to the roster - or both.

You're not winning anything with brunson and Kat paired with Thibs.

But my other gripes. Shamet 0-5 from 3. Josh hart 2 pts in 34 mins. Plenty of other things to nitpick but I won’t

Mitch was pretty solid until they started hacking him and took him out. This is another reason why we’ll never be able to use him. Any good team will do this

If it wasn't for him we would have lost by 30. This game had 99 problems (wack coaching, effort, execution, wack bench) but Mitch wasn't one of them.
