These players talk outside of the game & practices, they have each others numbers, they link in real life, Mikal speaking up wasn’t some random surprise.
They will still play with effort but they’re checked out. Writing is on the wall for Thibs the same way it was for Fizdale.

FO can't be happy either. They brought in guys like Wright and Beauchamp who should be Thibs guys and he's not using them.

WWW was trying to get Thibs fired not too long ago as well I believe. He’s probably pushing for them to hurry it up.

This simple adjustment took Thibodeau until last season to figure out with Julius, when any other coach would've noticed this simple adjustment in previous seasons.
This season everyone on the court has to create their own shots in isolations on every offensive possession.

we lack ball handlers that can create for themselves or others. brunson obvious is elite but most teams have more than 1 guy that can dribble into the paint, collapse the defense and draw a foul or kick it out for an open 3.
