Short handed. Did anyone expect to win? It was fun having the lead but, we are running 3rd/4th string players and we're down 4 rotation players. Including the straw that stirs the drink. I am actually impressed we were able to build that lead with Bridges not shooting much. This was a weird game. We just kinda slowly faded away and thar was that. Looked tired as expected.

It’s THIS ^^^. The Cavs have built up what they have over 3 years with essentially the same roster. We traded starter in Randle (all-star and all-NBA) and Donte (great 6 man and chemistry player) and got 2 new starters in KAT and Mikal

All year round, we have had a TON of injuries and at the end of this year and tonight, we have nights with either no Brunson AND no Mitch, or no Deuce, etc

And we’re going against LOADED Cleveland

We will finish 3rd and with Probably 52 Wins despite ALL of the injuries

We WILL win the 1st round and lose to Boston

Does THIBS have the roster and chemistry to do BETTER than this??? NO, and no other coach could either!!!! So shut up!!!

Mikal having less shot attempts than shamet is a problem.

Kat having less 3s than Mobley is a problem. Not having a 2nd creator is a problem.

And through all that we will have the best player when we see em in the playoffs. So fck em. We move.

Mikal had 3 fewer attempts than precious achiuwa. Dude does this. Has games where he won’t even try to score. I don’t even have to words to explain how this happens. With no Brunson and then towns and OG getting in foul trouble it’s like ok Mikal, do something, and the guy just dribbles around and hands it off to someone as the shot clock expires. I don’t get it

there's been some talk that mikal doesn't really love his role defending point of attack. maybe he's not all that happy here. he was pouting on the nets last year too though. so maybe it's just him.

I enjoyed half of that game. More than anyone here should have realistically expected. Mikal wasn't in his groove tonight. The haters are feasting right now. So typical. I missed a small chunk of the third so I can't say where the lead went honestly. We were up 4 and when I came back we were losing. Oh well.

8-6 is not bad since losing Brunson. With half our rotation for half of those games. He should be back against PHX. Not sure about the rest of the injured players. Is Huk done for the year?

Mikal also plays better when he’s set up or on the curl. Cavs wisely trapped him or put their 7 footer on him whenever he tried anything. Thibs had no counter.

We need a 2nd creator cause kat drives arent working and mikal was scared of the rock tonight. And its not going to magically change in the playoffs where 1v1 is the key

If you pair Mitch and kat, you cover for Kat’s defensive deficiencies
Then you obviously play OG and JB to start
Now for the 2 spot, deuce is just a flat out better point of attack defender and works better than Mikal in the backcourt

This means Mikal and Hart off the bench with precious and Kolek or Delon + Shamet

It works, but he won’t do it, he’s too afraid
