Team may be at full strength for the playoffs so if they are going to have a shot some of the stars may be aligning for them to go on a run.

Absolutely. Let’s hope that’s what transpires.

Meanwhile, Delon looks like he belongs

His defense is stellar and how good does that trade look now?

Yep, I’ll admit I wasn’t excited (or particularly disappointed) about the trade.

Now with a bit of time to evaluate, it’s quite funny comparing the 2 players. The volleyball player vs the actual basketballer

5 games left

2 at MSG vs. Celtics and Cavs

Win one of those and the team will get the shot in the arm it needs at the right time

The app is free and called Xtadium. I really don't use the app much because most of the live games require NBA League Pass and they're not courtside in 3D. I think they have a few games a week where users who don't have NBA League Pass can view the live game and they're in 3D VR Courtside like the one I viewed today.

Heres' the app and if you scroll down, you can see their schedule for the NBA and other live events. If it says "Immersive" then you can view it 3D VR.https://xtadiumvr.com/

Another great way to watch popular live sports events is in BigScreen VR. That's free also and many users host live streams in a virtual movie theater that holds around 25 people. You can just join the live room with your avatar and watch the event with the other avatars while talking to each other. It's great for UFC, Boxing NCAA, NFL etc. Sometimes I just go in there and watch regular movies and 3D movies.

Edit: I'm actually watching the UFC live right now in Bigscreen with about 25 people. Here's a pic I took.

A lot of those 30 assist games happened while Brunson was playing.

People want to represent it like the Knicks never cracked 30 with Brunson in the lineup, then wracked up 15 straight 30+ assist games while Brunson was out.

Ball movement was better this year. Then it wasn't. Then it was.

You’re right of course. It’s been a funny season where we’ve had most of the ducks but rarely in a row.

Remember that early game vs Detroit? That was the one that got us started in the ball movement. Most of the games Crawford called were great haha.

If Brunson can move the ball quickly up court like Curry often does, I think we are much more dangerous
Correct but he doesn't. 30 assists doesn't mean the ball is moving. What was the pace of those games? What were the scores?

And yes the ball moved a lot to begin then it became iso Brunson. Now it is moving again without him. Whatbhappens Sunday?

Mitch
KAT
OG
Bridges
Brunson

Bench: Hart, Deuce, Wright (or Shamet)

Is what our 8-man playoff rotation should be if Thibs had any foresight.

I’m with you - to this point, we haven’t brought a product to the table that will threaten the top teams. It might be possible, but maybe not this season. Anyway, we live in hope

Guys being out in a sense is a blessing because Thibs cant play them 40 minutes a game.

They will come back refreshed.

Combine this bulldozer finesse OG with Brunson and Mitch in the middle the team just MIGHT hit its top stride right in the playoffs.

no need to rush Jalen back, IMO...let the guys get their rhythm a bit more

I mean they did have 14 games to do that. He should’ve learned that moving the ball benefits everyone. Plus he needs to get acclimated himself. I would let OG play maybe 2 more games and sit Kat, Mikal & Josh till the playoffs.

Well it's pretty clear that Brunson was holding back og the whole time. Hope he doesn't get in the way of the greatest basketball player of all time when he comes back.

It was a solid pickup. I doubt he plays in the playoffs unless someone gets injured but we had to go 15 games without Brunson and then a handful without Payne and McBride and he came in and helped us win several games we needed to secure our playoffs spot. Meanwhile even with our lack of depth at center at times Sims was basically useless

Once Brunson and McBride come back there’s no way he could play though. Payne and Shamet’s spots in the rotation seem very safe as well

DET lost and MIL won

they still play each other two more times but MIL won first 2 games so they just have to split and then they have the tiebreaker. So its likely DET in Round 1.

I like OG on Cade a lot. Just have to keep there shooters from getting hot which has been an issue with Beasley but they don't really have anyone that can guard Brunson or KAT.

I’ve been a Knicks fans since 1989. My early years my immigrant African parents believed TV was literally the devil and didn’t let me watch, but my father loved ball, and he would sneak around my mother and watch games with me. I grew up loving the Knicks because Jordan notwithstanding, we were good. Then Ewing got old and we went through basically two decades where we were only good two or three years. Watching this team and being on this board is somewhat surreal to me. We’re a very good team right now. Maybe we’re not true contenders yet, but we’ve made excellent moves the past five years. Us complaining about Thibs, minutes, or losses to good to great teams is what my family would call ‘First-World Problems.’ I remember the terrible years with guys like Ared Effries and Jerome James on long term deals. We’re literally complaining about a 3-seed team. First World Problems.

Watching this game, even without our best player, each starter was over 50% from 3. Hart with another almost triple double. OG playing the best basketball of his career. For all the complaints about Thibs, he’s actually been very good developing our players into impact players. Even the minutes argument doesn’t hold water this game. Maybe Thibs is actually listening to Mikal. Maybe not.

I simply can’t find the will to complain about any aspect of our team right now. We’re still a move or two away, but this is the right of passage for most teams to gain a championship. This iteration of the Celtics went to the Conference Finals something six straight years. We have to go through this in the playoffs to see where we’re at. These regular season games aren’t the barometer, so I post less during the season bc it’s the playoffs where we will make our bones.

This Brunson injury might end up being a blessing in disguise. Wright has been good. And he’s big enough to still play next to Jalen when he returns. We’re deeper than we think, which means come the offseason we’ll be able consolidate a little bit without being gutted. Maybe we don’t get a Durant, but there are always smaller deals/ways to get it done. No one predicted we’d get OG. Mikal was always on the radar bc thank god the Nets are/were basura. I’m looking forward to the playoffs.

This was a nice, solid win against a team we should beat. We can’t let go of our true perspective.
