I was calling for JB god mode in the clutch so I cannot blame Cap for not making enough shots. But I think the JB god mode bailout for Thibs will not work against good perimeter defense teams like OKC and Boston. Thibs needs to be more creative if ever we go deep in the playoffs.

It really isn't a moral victory, they didn't have Horford and Brown only played 21 minutes. If they're healthy it will not be a competitive series against them, it's 4-1 type of series if not a sweep.

You don’t foul Tatum to not let him get a 3 off at the end of regulation.
You draw up an out of bounds play that somehow makes Josh hart take the shot to close the game. Not OG JB or KAT
You draw up a play that puts Mikal in the corner of all places instead of getting the ball to the middle of the court in OT

Say what you want, if Michael Malone is there, you go get him because Thibs is not it

I completely agree with this. Thibs is a goofy ass coach. He constantly put his players in the worst positions.

But OG and Mikal not exempt tonight. They have to be better. These are the matchups we got them for. They need to be better on both sides of the ball.

yes they need to shoot better but we were going to win this game if you just execute end of game situations.

Also on the list of 3 reasons why we lost mikal isn't even in the top 3. He made buckets down the stretch. Because KAT throws him a grenade he's not even looking for that pass. KAT is facing the basket he's gotta make the decision there. But can't blame KAT.

Brunson had a rough OT as well. I get he's working through things but he was making a lot of mistakes. OG couldn't buy one.

Tatum stepped inside the 3 pt line with like 6 seconds...the fact we don't wrap him up right there is concerning.

Let’s be real though — the 3 point lead was fake

KAT is well meaning and I like him — but he’s a highly undisciplined player

MB is shooting shots that come after he freezes and doesn’t know what to do

Brunson doesn’t really give up the ball the way a stronger coach would demand

Falling asleep on an inbounds is a sign of deep dysfunction — maybe not don’t even know but just feels like a dumb and weak team

The reffing has a double whammy effect bc guys are totally afraid to play defense
