Tbf, you end up leaving in the summer so the bet won't really matter.

Mostly wide open 3s. Is the plan to bank on them shooting like Jared Jeffries all series? B/C it could get ugly real quick

Yep I was about to post this as well. And it was the same in 4th quarter of game 1. We’ve been getting lucky as hell they’re missing so much

We live and die with iso down the stretch, too predictable.

The bench sparks are gone and only Mcbride scores that means we only have 6 players to score out of a 15-player squad.

The refs tend to be more even on the calls at 4th but the first three quarters are horrendous, we need someone gutsy enough to take some fines to shout out on this to media.

Towns having 14 shots is criminal in game 1, and this game he has even less touch.

OG and Mikal evens out their contributions in the first two game, they are not parities I would rather they both have 16-18 pts with good D.

Brunson does elevate the game in the clutch but with this upgraded firepower we need him to facilitate more on this upgrade (especially the D is slightly worse for this roster change already) He is our cap and I hope he will figure out on this or he can play more off ball and we give keys to Mikal or Towns to take turns as well.

Tie series I am not mad. I guessed a sweep but JB the coach seems to improve from that Cavs series 2 years ago. After all yes it's the players who sweat on the court, but like a movie the director and scriptwriter are always the key to success or failure of a team.

They have to bite the bullet and throw in Bridges with Towns for someone.

Sorry, fellas, but the obvious happened that I said the day the KAT trade made:

The team became soft and aren't playoff performers.

Both KAT and Bridges have completely changed the dynamic and mentality of this squad for the worse and no coaching change will matter much without one or both of these dudes moved.

These guys cannot win meaningful games because they're not built for it. Talented players but better off in Charlotte or some **** like that.

Problem is - does this front office have the balls to trade either of them and/or fire Thibs?

I feel like this front office is going to run it back with everyone and add a bench piece or two with a center. And that will be a terrible, terrible mistake. They're about to enter the 'good treadmill team' era. Aka a team good enough to be a top 5 team in their conference but zero shot at a championship.

They'll fire Thibs first but that should be the second move assuming he doesn't get his **** together.

Nah Shamm is right. They need to find a way to rehabilitate his value before moving him. Man…it’s been an ugly ass season for Bridges, starting from his hitch all the way til today. Even during our win, he got benched.

I thought Deuce looked "ready" actually ... but Tom's offense leaves like no room for opportunity ... no room to break through. Only guys who had meaningful shots tonight second half were JB and MB

I can't believe Payne didn't even play lol

Defending the Knicks is simple. Blitz Brunson. No one else can create a shot. What this team needed was another shot creator, not another 3 and D wing.

This team lack secondary shot creation, this team lacks rim protection, and the most expensive wing duo of all time does not offset these issues against good teams.

The problem with a secondary creator is that it'll still boil down to strictly isos, no matter what they do from a roster standpoint the team is going to play the same way because of the coach. The fact we don't run screens for a 2 man game between KAT and Brunson says enough, even if you think they'll switch it a Tobias Harris on Brunson iso is a lot easier than him trying to beat Thompson.

He doesn’t get the ball from the ballhog point guard.

There’s no ball movement and Detroit just knows the deal.

McBride, and Bridges don’t have it at all.

RHODEY wrote:Sorry but Ragu would not have missed all those critical 3's. I counted 4 of them that Mikal bricked. They say we have a problem with Detroit's length nut really we have a problem with their motor , strength, and athleticism.

I would move Bridges for 2 roleplayers that were playoff performers. We needed athletic players and another facilitator that will get into the game... preferably over 6'4"/ Thibs should be gone but this team definitely lost too much when Ragu and Ihart left the building.

This was an ice out on both KAT and Mikal. Mikal had the hot hand going into the 2nd half and the game plan completely went away from him. I don't know WTF to think of KAT. There was one play where he was struggling to score over Harris. WTF what was that?

with the apron rules it's pretty hard to add pieces to this team. they can really only trade someone in the rotation for someone else who makes similar money.

Not even mad at those shots during a close game but the question is should it have been a close game to begin with? No Cam in the 2nd half when he saved your azz in the first game?? Shamet pulled after just minutes? JB playing the entire 2nd half?? No touches for KAT in the 4th. Two 3 pt attempts for your high efficiency scoring big?!

Nah man this is just trash coaching to the point where you begin to think Thisbs got Vegas involved. No one can defend this man tonight. I dare you to.
