I listened to it. I respectfully disagree with you. Didn't sound like speculting at all to me Broussard didn't change his tone or way of talking about it .... I do wonder tho, how would Broussard or anyone else know what Dolan is saying to DW? Logic says this is speculation. OK, maybe we are saying the same thing here... but I'm making an analysis of the the logic not the sound of Broussard's voice or his tone.
I also wonder who leaked this. I do believe it has some legs... and to be fair, I posted a few weeks back SPECULATING along the lines of making a deal to save old man Kroenke money would be the best way to go. Analysis... deductive thinking, no source telling me. It just makes sense.
But my gut tells me DW has been playing this the right way for a long time. Remember reports months ago saying the Knicks believe the longer this plays and closer to the deadline the better for us?
Also, DW repeatedly saying he is not going to break up the team to get one player.... consistent message througout.
Denver really has no other good options. Saving all that money and getting 3 or 4 small pieces is as good as they can hope for.....
DW has (IMO) dictated the terms here, Chandler is the piece we can best afford to give up. AR is a pawn that means very little to our team. Fat Eddie has been eating his way to this his moment of glory in Knicks history for 2 years or more now.
The stars are lining up and Ujiri has his back against a wall with a loaded canon on the other side of the wall. Unless a miracle happens and Melo suddenly changes his mind....
A deal like this is going to be made. Not speculation, analysis and deduction!
