C: Andrew Bynum/Zaza Pachulia/
PF: Tim Duncan/Pachulia/Al Harrington
SF: Tashaun Prince/AH
SG: Arron Afflalo/Mo Williams
PG: Mo Williams/Isaiah Thomas

The front court is awesome. Bynum had a beast year and Duncan is the perfect mentor/teacher to take him along even further. Tayshaun and Afflalo are great pieces too, both can stick their guy and knock down open 3s. Zaza is a very underated backup he isnt too offensively gifted but hes big and will bang and knock guys over, which is a nice luxury to have. Harringtons a good fit too as a scorer off the bench. The team is very well constructed with an awesome defense but its one flaw might be what breaks it. This team has no penetration/creation on offense. Mo isnt great breaking guys down off the dribble, and Thomas is still learning to be a true pg. Unfortunately with prince and Duncans age you might not have the time for him to develop. If this team had a better PG situation it would have a good shot at being the best team imo. It is still one of the better teams in the BAT I think but the PG spot might keep you from having a shot to win it.

Lol...I'm usually one of the biggest spenders in every BAT (was at $103 million last BAT). But have actually trying to be cost conscious and factor in salary into my decisions. Top to bottom...have a lot of salary flexibility. David Lee costs only $11.6 million this year. Elton Brand only $2.1 million. Tyreke Evans only $3.5 million. Delonte West only $2.5 million. Chris Andersen projected at $1.35 million. Marion has an easy out of his contract after the season. Deron Williams is maxed but he's worth it. Only Marvin Williams has a salary ($7.5 million) that be considered excessive and even then Williams is a young, strong, athletic and versatile player that should get big minutes on this team.

Had DeShawn Stevenson targeted in the 300's but after seeing my brother play w/ DeShawn on the Summer League team here in Orlando, dude has lost it.

His defense was ok as usual but offensively, his game has gotten worse and trust me, w/ the other pros and college kis playing here (Courtney Lee, Big Baby, a couple of Eddy Curry's, D Wash, Brandon Hunter, Austin Rivers older brother, Chris Warren, etc) they gave Stevenson the business and actually his homeboy Rich (on the same team as DeShawn) hooped better than him.

And trust me, he was trying, dudes was talking sh*t, going at each other hard, too and this was before and after he was S&T'ed to the Hawks when he didn't even have a contract.

Dude was ballin' for pride.

Btw, no names dropped cause these guys I named aren't in the L, they're overeas.

Also, this build a team is graded on best offense, defense, win now, and future. In order to win the build a team you need a solid mix of every ingredient, and that's what I tried doing with this roster.

Yes, I have a LOT of faith in Lin. I was always one of the biggest Lin supporters, and still have no idea why we let this franchise changing player go. People tend to show stats when Woodson took over... When Woodson took over we were UP BY DOUBLE DIGITS so we didn't need Lin to play. He sat out most 4th quarters, and we also had a great backup in B-Diddy.

You say I don't have a backup Point Guard, well, I plan on using a 3 guard rotation with Lin, Mayo, and Terry all accumulating around 32 MPG each. Mayo and Terry have both shown the ability to run the point in a limited basis. Stephan Jackson also can be a playmaker for me, and run some of the offense off the bench.

You also seem to call out someone of my teams D? Well Joakim Noah is an ELITE defender. Nicholas Batum is a great defender. OJ Mayo is a really good defender as well, and S-Jax is tough as nails still. Lin tries really hard on D, and is average at worst. Gooden and Terry are nothing special defensively I'll give you that, but my team rebounding is insane.

I don't really need a pure superstar when I have so many scoring options. Lin to Blake pickNroll, Lin to Blake Alley Oops, OJ Mayo and Terry both have jumpers, Lin can get to the line and drive and dish out to a Batum. I really like this roster. If I build an all youth squad, I would've been demolished come playoff time, and I'd eventually have to pay them all. I don't have a single player on their rookie contract, yet 4/5ths of my starting lineup is 24 and under. Noah - 27.

Had a shot at Dirk did you not? He has proven he could be a #1 option on a championship team.

I think the voting promotes building an average team with no clear direction. Im not judging your team based on these categories. Thats for later. Im giving my point of view on what you have done to make your team a championship contender now or later.

Its impossible to feel that Lin can handle a full season at around 32 minutes for 82 games, without having some question for it. Its one of those things, that you don't know until someone does it. Its a big adjustment and one he has yet to make.

Im saying you have a starting guard, but if he gets hurt, whos the next man in? Both of the other guys are combo guards. Baron wasn't a great backup last year. And I love Baron.

Never questioned Noah nor Batum. Both those guys are plus-defenders. OJ is just okay on defense. Lin was bad on defense most of last year and Griffin is also a below average defender. Bench is below average on d. Rebounding is above average, but I never criticized that.

Most teams dont work the way you just said your would. You don't have that #1 option that can carry the load. With a youth squad, you would have had improvements every year in playoff time and eventually have a shot at a championship. With this I see no way to have a great shot to win. Paying them isnt a problem either. They will all be RFA so thats nowhere near a problem.

BTW. Not doing anymore reviews. Its fun to do these but too time-consuming, especially when there is back and forth.

I feel you, he wasn't a horrible pick so high, maybe not the best either so that just means guy are falling in the draft.

Besides, I'm still salty about you know who for you know who

In other news, in his haste to defend his critique of another GM's team, blueninja gets this:
