You would think they were waiting on the results of a biopsy on the bulls board.

so far all melo has really said is, i want to make it easy on my family and he wants to contend, the family part both LA and NY fit since he has homes in both citys and they can both offer the most money... contending NY has the edge because its in the east (oh and we have phil :D )

Houston and Chicago would both require him to relocate his family and take big paycuts, Houston has zero chance since its in the west and it wouldn't be a good fit with harden. Chicago i honestly believe would have a good chance if rose had been healthy last year and shown any signs hes not done also they would have to make room to get him alot closer to the max

bottom line all signs point to NY

Can someone explain why multiple lawyers would fly to Chicago to work on relatively simple & boiler plate contracts? E-Mail and scanners still exist, right?

One of the posters reported back to their board with that post about the dogs because he thought it was true. Now they're mad because "a site admin shouldn't be posting false stuff like that" , now they're going in on him about the Lebron stuff.

Melo returns to have Knicks. End of story.

Robert Randolph is Channing Tatum in "This is the End."

Chicago can start their, "Well we didn't want him anyways.." Dallas can start, "Durant and Dirk in 2016!" B.S. Houston and the Lakers can fool themselves into saying, "Lebron is interested."

I am beyond that. The next trick is convincing Melo that he doesn't know a damn thing about player personnel and target Marc Gasol as their next priority.

The lawyer thing makes zero sense considering the Bulls have no cap space at the moment. Boozer is still there

Let the Bulls fan be annoyed. This is kinda funny how personally they are taking this.

CHI really thinks they still have a shot?

I estimate that horse has been dead for about three days now.

A few of the senior partners are season ticket holders, and also do a lot of work with InCapital, which is owned by Tom Rickett, the Cubs owner. Anyway, word is, in the office, Melo's attorney's are heading into Chicago tomorrow. That is all I got.

NOTE: I've been a heavy-lurker throughout this Melo process, and wanted to take a moment to thank you all for helping me through this roller coaster of a week. My process has been: 1) Read latest breaking story from (insert that hack ESPN/Yahoo "Insider") 2) Dial into 4-way conference-call with my Bro's to discuss the legitimacy/effect of said latest news 3) Come here to read through latest 8-10 pages of latest Melo Thread 4) Re-calibrate my thoughts on whether we land Melo.

Right now, I am very confident Melo will be a Bull.

FYI, these posts have already been discussed on here ad nauseum.

Thats what people think. Phil and his camp have been very silent. RR talking about Lebron coming here and Melo coming back could all be bull.

Phil doesnt want leaks. Or RR could be instructed to say these things to get other people thinking this is what we are going to do. If teams think we can add Lebron and resign Melo, then we have a little more leverage in a trade scenario then if Melo just wanted to leave.

I felt from the beginning that Melo would be back and I still think he will be. If he leaves, okay...we'll move on. I just think he's back -- the horse has never been alive, IMO.

There will be no Lebron. Anyone thinking that is rock salt crazy in the head.
