All Melo has done is keep adjusting to new coaches, teammates and systems while carrying this sorry ass franchise the best he could while we traded away players that fit and failed to replace key vets. In the shadows we have Frank "BnO" Asshola reporting that that's all on Melo.

It's about to be all on KP...
Gee I wonder tf why

You shouldn't. Mike D'Antoni was garbage here before Melo. People forget that. Woody was fired so Phil could place his own HC. Fisher was fired because of /_\ and Jeff is showing his ass with his damn rotations and play calling. Teammates has been a problem on this team for decades. We stay with turnover. That was before Melo stepped foot in NY.

Once again, you look silly blaming one player for everything.

Folks trying to use Woodson being fired against Melo are clearly agenda driven. Melo had his best stretch as a Knick under Woodson and came to his defense when he was fired.

You know who didn't? Everyone else.

Bring him back if he's actually ready to go.

The reason why it took so long to report KP injured was because he was ready to go tonight. That boy need to be examined fore he start lying trying to get back on the court

Just don't want them to push it. They do this all the time and don't see the big picture.

Just let the guy get right

We've won 7 playoff games in 6 seasons. Every fan should be upset. Tired of moral victories. Time for some people in the front office to lose their jobs.

We should have had a plan before bringing Melo here. We should've known the kind of players and coached he needed around him. Nobody did their homework.

I still don't get why they traded for Melo given what Dantoni was doing at the time. Then Dantoni damn there made the knicks relevant again with Lin. Admittedly the coaches after that have been meh but Dantoni actually did things.

Melo didn't want Woody gone. Fans on this board call for coaches to be fired then blame Melo when the coach gets fired.
The fuq?

Remember this?

What's really sad is that the Nets won 10 playoff games in the same time span.

The lies.
He was damn near fired before 2010. Our team was horrid. Walsh then put all eggs into the LeBron basket like a dummy. D'Antoni was skating by because this franchise thought he could help entice LePosse to come here for his system. That was a fuqing fail and we ended up with STAT. D'Antoni was also on the hot seat the year we traded for Melo because the STAT team fell off a cliff heading into the All-Star break.

How old are you all? Senile tendencies up in here.

It's definitely not Rose...he was traded here...he had no choice in coming here

it's probably Lee...he was convinced by Noah to come here and it was reported that he had numerous teams after him, he had options

Don't forget Jennings.. he was low-key bashing Melo in his tweets and how he looks after Melo even makes this shot:

I wish we could of seen how this all plays out if we got DWill instead. The same guys bashing Melo would be killing the FO for not getting him and signing DWill instead

The year we traded for Melo was the year we ran the spurs into the ground and the time ny was buzzing. Yea, they tailed off towards the all star break but let's not act like Dantoni didn't do great with that team and then Melo and especially Billups forced him to slow down that system and he never quite recovered until Linsanity.

Dr. Detfink wrote:Greenie is right about one thing, trading 21-year old KP would actually give the Knicks something in return. The other 4 of these overpaid stank couldn't get you a second round pick. They're too old, too banged up, and have no where but down to go.

Pretty much like EVERY game this season, Melo was content trading shots with whoever the opposing team puts on him. There's a problem with that approach. The opposite team usually has a 10+ point lead on the Knicks. That doesn't do anything to cut into the lead because Melo isn't giving a damn about defense. All it does is waste time. By the time the opposition misses, that's 4 minutes later and the Knicks STILL haven't cut into the lead.

By the time the Knicks cut into the lead, they are too tired to take the lead and the other team pulls away.

Naw, this isn't about the triangle. This team just can't stand each other. Plain and simple. That goes from the players to the coach. Phil Jackson has to wonder, what do I do now?

Well yea, tbh KP, KOQ, Henny and maybe Kuz are the only real assets, trading KP could get you something real nice but what if it doesnt work out? That would be like a shot in the leg

At least that would've meant allowing Pringles to work with a star guard.

The buzz went back to Mike needing to lose his job.
Raymond fell of a cliff and so did the offense.
Mike had Gallo standing in a damn corner.
Mike never recovered. He was in question before Melo got here. Facts are facts. Heat was major being that Thibbs had Chicago balling and he was the other option supposedly. Mike gearing up to losing his job started year two into his own person stint with us. Neither Melo or STAT were here.

Return to New York Knicks
