dude has a 4 year deal with a PO and is overpaid for what he brings to the table
this is just a stupid deal
What is the purpose of this signing?
A basketball team needs basketball players. Tim has a outstanding character and has shown improvement while in Atlanta. I agree on the money being a little too much but if he continues to improve who knows.

If that make anyone feel better.

I think he'll be out soon.
Timmy has guts as a scorer but what about the bad D, lack of passing, inefficiency. Nah.

James Johnson has agreed to the framework of a four-year, $60 million deal to stay with the Heat, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.
The Heat are still trying to shed some salary, so that explains why the terms are not agreed upon just yet. Johnson had his best year with the Heat in 2016-17, turning in career-high averages of 12.8 points, 4.9 boards, 3.6 assists and 1.0 treys. He only started five games, but he's going to get minutes in the upper 20s again. He's a nice target late in drafts.
