As for Hardaway, I am ecstatic to see his growth. Didn't get to see many Hawks games last year but his stats and highlights looked good. Improved play when he was a starter at the end of the year was good too. I'm excited for him, a little disappointed we could have gotten him for cheaper but still excited. I think in 2 years he will be worth his contract when we look back

THJ looked very explosive there and was playing good D on Harden when on him. Harden and Paul will be fun to watch together next season.

Team Timmy!

Everyone should click that link and read that. I'm rooting so hard for Timmy. He can be an all-star. Ugh. Can this season start already.

I was watching Timmy defend both Harden and Paul. He did a really good job - I was impressed. Harden hit some of his shots, but not at the rate he usually would. He was fast, drove well, and seemed to be paying within the flow of the game. No way I ever saw Rose do that last year.

Real talk defense isnt all about IRON fuqn WILL it's about athleticism and common sense. I had that until I was about 17, the athleticism anyway. By then I was smoking a pack of Marboro's a day along with at least three Philly blunts. My point is I was always taught keep an eye on the feet not the waist. If your athletic and fast enough to keep up with your opponent you shouldn't be outsmarted by him.

Timmay has the potential to be a less physical prime Artest as his ceiling. Not saying his defense or physicality will be equal, but I can see him being a 20 PPG scorer with decent percentages and pretty solid defense, without the crazy and the year-long ban, if that happens this contract is a bargain not saying it will but that's best case scenario not saying his defense or physicality will be equal, but I can see him being a 20 PPG score with decent percentages and pretty solid defense if that happens this contract and so being a bargain not saying it will but that's best case scenario.

I can see Timmy doing this too. After he scores the game winner, he enters the stands to thank me because my cheering helped him do it.

Then I wake up and worry he won't be worth his contract. I'm afraid this may last until the season begins and I can see him play.

The thing is in this day and age what player other than the top 10 in the league are worth their contracts? These guys are grossly overpaid but I'm not mad at them it's a multi billion dollar business they should be getting their money I would just like to see people that really make a difference on a daily basis get paid more than chump change.

When you think about athletes and performers, they earn hundreds of times more than ordinary folks. But there aren't many people who can do this, and we really want to continue seeing them do this. So chill - and enjoy basketball.

And even if they would have, why would you overpay, putting a negative contract on your books?

It's not that terrible & he's younger than our normal FA acquisitions, so glass half full I guess.
