I think will be hard finding a spot in the rotation to Frank if he dont improve his shooting.

As a PG he dont get a chance with Irving and Dennis.

As a wing, he will fight for playing time against Dotson, Trier and Knox. And perhaps Culver or Barret.

yeah but that doesn't answer my question. Which is who can replace him at the same salary or lower...

Since Kadeem's on a two-way, you don't have to replace him just yet

no. he was saying the berman article is a source. :nonono: didn't even address the concept of a primary source.

He was all over the place. I was confused. he's good with cap numbers though.

You have a link confirming Kadeem is signed for next season?

Shelvin doesn’t suck nearly as much as Frank does. Not even close.

Tim Frazier

I was watching Patrick Beverly last night drive the Warriors crazy with his defense. They almost won the game because of him. That's why we should keep Frank.

The question was which player can replace Frank's defensive effectiveness and versatility for a cheaper price tag, no?

Mack and Frazier sure don't fit the bill.

There are more players than are on your list Stanley Johson is another one. I don't have to do anything more than I've already done. You all can choose which players that suit your needs. The answer is subjective and will change based on who answers the question. I proved my point already. It isn't hard to replace Franks current team production.

You're not answering our question, stop deflecting. I want you to tell me who that player is. I don't need to choose, you do.

And Stanley Johnson, lmao.....

Frank is statistically in the bottom 5-10% of impact players in the league. His defense is great, but his offense is beyond bad and inefficient. Doesn’t rebound and doesn’t assist/playmake at a consistent rate. There are a lot of players that can do just as good or better then frank in terms of team production. That’s taking potential out of the equation.

Ahh. I see, but unless Frank’s offense improves, he’s unplayable on a good team. Can’t just isolate his defense, because players that match his offensive ineptitude don’t play in the league for long. If he’s offensively passable, that type of player would be paid like Andre Roberson.

Despite his defensive gifts, he’s still overpaid. That’s how bad his offense is. Very Ron Bakerish.

Frank doesn’t get in the opposition’s head the way the way Beverley does. Beverley is a hardnosed physical tough player. Frank defends but not with the level of physicality and ruggedness of a guy like Beverley.

frank is more the roberson type defender where he uses his length, smarts, positioning then the beverly type where he's overly physical and aggressive. they might be equally as effective but the latter looks like it's more effort so we may be biased towards it.

I don't disagree about Frank's offense, but the players listed are also pretty much unplayable on a good team. If Frank can shoot league average from 3, he's easily more valuable than either of them.

Despite his defensive gifts, he’s still overpaid. That’s how bad his offense is. Very Ron Bakerish.

This claim has been made before, but nobody has been able to list a player that is:
- Available
- Extremely effective guarding the 1
- Can effectively switch all the way up to the 4
- Makes less than Frank.

Frank doesn't even have an elite level steal rate tho.
