Main targets:
1.Ball
2. Hayes
3. Haliburton

Wild Card Pick: Poku
Backup Plan: Vassell

If Edwards, Wiseman or Onyeka fall into our lap then might have to take those guys too at a certain spot, but fading Edwards/Wiseman and not expecting Onyeka

I like it!

Think if we’re stuck at 7/8 they go with Vassell over a guy like Poku just cause I think they’re ready to jump start into a competitive team. I believe they’re confident in landing a Booker or Mitchell or 2021 FA at some point and Vassell fits really well. Adding piece to puzzle, basically.

I am more willing to buy picks than to sell picks. I would give Frank, Knox, Dennis or Randle to move up or get another mid/late FRP.

I dont think we are in a stage to give up top 10 picks to trade for no all star players like Buddy Hill and Aaron Gordon. And no way selling top 10 picks to get 30y+ old veteran like Cris Paul. Even Oladipo, I dont think worth a Top 10 FRP.

this draft is so flawed :( every prospect has a huge question mark attached to them.

i'm just avoiding the lavar ball circus **** show, last thing we need is lavar blaming rj for lamelo's lack of spacing or saying Mitchell isn't anything without lamelo

Wiseman to me is the only player without a huge question mark attached to them imo. Too bad he won’t drop to us

Yea, its hard to see anyone taking Poku that high although you never know. Its real tough to judge Poku since there's not much and he is going against some real bad competition. Physically, can see the potential though and i dont see many other high potential guys.

I do like Vassell out of the other wing players. He just passes the eye test for me and seems like he will be a good starter, although i do question his ceiling.

I like Vassell. I kinda get some Josh Richardson vibes about him. I think he can be a really solid starter

Alex Kline sounds like the real deal. I can't remember any President being able to rebuild the Knicks organization like Rose has.

Ran across a really nice video of him recently with some nice plays that I hadn't seen before. Also I see he's been putting in a lot of work on his game and seems dedicated, I like that. He seems easy to root for at the end of the day. Unlike Lamelo, who I simply do not and probably never will like.

fair, I think having a father who played professionally probably really helped Killian. Same way RJ speaks about his father being so influencial. Not saying that is a requirement of being a good player because its not but having that knowledge and experience on what type of hard work its takes to play at that level...RJ and Killian seem to have great work ethics and when you attached that with talent you have a god chance to get a good young player.

Would be a nice young back court to build around with RJ and Killian. I still would rather RJ play SF and get a knock down shooter to play SG for us but doesn't seem like the Knicks are interested in playing him at SF full time but we'll see what our next HC thinks whoever that may be.

As much as I love lamelo I may just put Edwards #1 on my board.

Edwards,rj and Mitch going forward with thibs as hc would be really special foundation going forward.

Dude is just special man and I think thibs can guide him to reach his potential.

That will make two starters who you are hoping can learn how to go right and they are now in the NBA. This isn't college. I'd rather have someone, yes, like Haliburton, who can step in and at least give us a little of everything along with a lot of flexibility.

Are we going to at least have some semblance of a NBA draft combine or individual workouts to test these guys? I'm not saying your wrong about Hayes but all of these guys seems to missing something at least at this young age, which makes it very difficult to prognosticate their future NBA careers.

I'm a Hali fan and don't mind that he doesn't seem to be great at any one thing because he's good at many things. I'd have no issue with the Knicks drafting him with our lottery pick but think they should definitely grab a T.Jones, T.Terry, T.Maledon, N.Mannion or another PG with one of the other picks since Hali might end up a better fit for SG over PG at the NBA level, but we won't know that for sure until we get to see him play in the NBA. As of now i do think he can be a starting PG in the NBA but i know some aren't so sure so just to be safe we should grab one of those PG's i mentioned.

Return to New York Knicks
