I watched the first 2 Ignite games, but can't watch anymore. I can't bear another year getting my hopes up for the top prospects only to see us in the back half of the lottery again

I've watched a bit of all those teams. Ziaire getting 10 minutes last game is a bummer. like w/ Boston, he was one of my preseason favorites and hasn't loved up to the hype. the skill-set is there but needs to get a lot stronger

I really like Moody. he's a legit 3&D player w/ some off the dribble potential (nice mid-range pull-up). he's the type of player any team could use

still unsure what to think of the Springer/Keon. Springer is just an ok athlete and looks more like a SG than a PG. he's been knocking down the 3 ball which is encouraging tho (low-ish attempt rate tho)

Keon has great potential but the swing skill is definitely shooting, which makes him a tough fit here (kind of like Okoro last draft)

right now, Bouknight is towards the top of my list. he's a + athlete, gets to the rim, can shoot off the dribble. looks like a 3-level scorer to me, which is what we need

makes sense. Coach K has been bringing him off the bench and decreased his minutes.

and it's not like he even played poorly: his %'s are very good (52.3 FG%, 44.4 3PT%), he rebounds well, is a good passer and defender.

Ziaire Williams was also benched and played just 10 min last game. wonder if he'd opt-out too

w/ the success that Kuminga and Green are having in the g-league, I think college basketball has become a much less appealing option for the top recruits

Jalen Johnson is my number #1 he might slip in the draft candidate this year. Talent wise he potentially should be in the mix with the top 5 for a high draft spot. He hasn’t looked that good and I could see him fall all the way down to the late lottery. He’s thought to be a PF but realistically he could be a SF if he improves his shot, and a good SF too.

Definitely something to consider for us who might be drafting in that range

Come on Ronnie Brewers was looking ok and then he tore his hamstring and even after that there was enough potential in his game that he stuck around the league for 4 more years.

Also Brewers shot was OD broken.....

Go on Basketball Reference and take a look at Brewer’s shooting percentages. A career 25% 3PT and 67% FT shooter. Very Clarke-ish.

Yeah but his shot was broken.... like scary broken. Clarke potentially can get better... and would be a high second rounder

Clarke has a very solid form. Shown plenty of flashes hitting jumpers off the dribble and on catch and shoot. He talking bout Clarke like he’s Okoro with a busted form

That's why I'm saying you need to watch more of Ziaire to get back on the bandwagon. He'll need longer than the top 5 for his body o be ready, but all of that talent is still there. I wouldn't read too much into his PT in that last game, he just got back to the team the game before.

Keon does so many things well, that even with the time his shooting will need, he's still exciting, and Springer reminds me of a smaller RJ...similar bullyball slashing game with under-rated playmaking and a developing shot.

I like Bouknight too, but not as much as Ziaire and I waffle on Bouknight v Moody.

Only if we make it to the playoffs. Can't go wrong with Clarke with a late 1st round pick imo

A bit of semantics but I would rather they package the two first to move up as high as possible and then potentially trade back into the late first built around pick #31.... like we did for Quickley.

I am not against taking him as a late first but that would have to be after say pick #26

As some other poster mentioned, Jalen Green is a special athlete.
He just floats in the air.. very Jordan-esque.
He would be great in between RJ & IQ.

Unless he kills it in early workouts he’ll probably stay. The injuries give him a perfect excuse to try it again and it goes without saying Kentucky is going to bring in a decent PG next year.
