I bought and downloaded the initial first access version of the sim today. Taking an initial look at player ratings and, like every other year, found a few headscratchers. I'm sure that there will be a few unhappy GM's when the star ratings get released. Only thing I will mention is that the developer did say that the initial ratings may move a little more this year than usual.

Saying that, I will release the 3/3.5 players tomorrow and the 4/4.5/5 players on Sunday.

There are currently:

5 stars- (8 players)
4.5 stars- (11 players)
4 stars- (10 players)
3.5 stars- (29 players)
3 stars- (48 players)

EDIT- Should be 8---5 star players

Usually don’t put as much thought into overall star ratings as I do player strengths and fit, but here are my expectations for my core four…

Joel Embiid 4.5 stars
CJ McCollum 3.5 stars
Fred VanVleet 3.5 stars
Tobias Harris 3.5 stars

I think i'm more interested to see how the rookies are going to look this year after last years perplexing ratings to say the least.
