If you say so. I know Thibs is obsessed with defense and effort. I know Randle's effort on the defensive end can be absolutely terrible at times. I don't think I have heard Thibs say anything negative about his defense ever. Does that mean he is ok with Randle's defense because publicly he does nothing but praise him? No. They are just words.“Tell your dad we want him to play defense in the All-Star Game”.
That was the criticism you could find? A joke with his son about playing defense in a game where no one plays defense?

It was a joke because I'm literally not going to seriously debate you on whether Randle -- despite all the insurmountable quotes from teammates and beat writers reporting about the locker room atmosphere -- that Randle was tight with his teammates.

mpharris36 wrote:what makes KAT's 3 pt shooting so special is he hit 44% from the top of the key and that is where a majority of his looks come from. A lot of times guys have really high 3pt %'s because they shoot a lot of stand still corner 3's. For example KP shot 35% on similar looks last year. League avg top of the key 3's is around 35% and KAT destroys those avgs.
Having a big that is elite from the top of the key will be such a nightmare to defend for opposing teams.

Siding with a Cavs fan to bash your own team. I’ll never understand Stan culture. Someone please explain this to me

I wont deny Health could get us but I'm not going to focus on that and no enjoy my season
KAT > KP
and KAT is a good matchup to defend KP on the perimeter
We're built to beat the Celtics

This trade is essentially swapping Divo and Ihart for Bridges and KAT from that playoff roster. How much better would that team be with KAT instead of Ihart might be the more relevant comparison.

stuporman wrote:It's not just about trying to copy another team who won a title, it's the direction of the league in many respects.
It's having a player that can play the 5 and shoot a 3 pointer from the top of the key at a high clip, not just a corner 3 or elbow 3 but a top of the arc 3 pulls the other team's rim protector as far away from the basket as you possibly can get them.
Now the Knicks have that but they also have two other guys on the floor, OG and Mikal, that protect the basket very well so it's not like there is no rim deterrence if KAT or whoever the center happens to be, gets pulled away from the basket covering some other big man spotting up at the top of the key.
Plus if KAT is playing the 4 he provides some help shot blocking as well. Always having 3 guys who will contest shots at the rim on the floor is what the Knicks now have. This is something few teams have and will translate to lower opponent FG% in the paint and at the basket.
So it's not just about being a copy cat.
