I don't get how a multi-millionaire athlete surrounded by multi-millionaires and billionaires in 2025 could come down with a sudden illness like this and not have access to whatever is needed to recover.

I know we are all humans at the end of the day and things happen. KP has been dealing with an upper respiratory illness since February. There really is nothing he can take or be treated with to be fixed up by now?

Working out well for us at least, but I'm a little bummed about KP cause I never stopped liking him. It would be a much more difficult series if the Celtics had him as a reliable 3rd option.

We learned a long time ago that KP was made of glass; his bones and flesh.

He's a machine...That's why I called him Machine Mikal all season HS.

I’m convinced the team tanked regular season defense for health. Very curious how much we even practiced. McBride said the championship mindset started early. Which leads me to believe they didn’t care about regular season as much knowing health was one of our issues. That’s why we brought Mitch back slowly not rush like in the past.

They cared about the regular season enough to at least secure the 5th best record in the NBA

I know the Knicks have been better on the road these playoffs, but it will pay dividends to have home court advantage if the Knicks were to face the Pacers in the ECF, or face the Warriors, Nuggets, Timberwolves in the Finals. Especially Denver because the high altitude is probably the hardest to adjust to versus any other court in the NBA.

My humble analysis of why these two games have played out the same way:
-- We don't have great offensive sets so we fall behind, but we play the whole game very physically.
-- Boston runs out of gas trying to keep up with us in the 4th (and OT) and we run wild all over them.
Is this because our guys are used to playing 45 minutes a game?
