These guys are just assuming that Felton means no Lin. They have no sources to confirm such. Who the F is Rick bonnell and what does he know?

Didn't denver use him that way sometimes?

He's not understanding. Even if Felts is PG, he backs up Lin and it allows you to use Kidd at the 2 more. They're not relying on Pablo for backup minutes.

Shump and Fields being out requires more depth in the backcourt.

So now Lin is only valuable for his marketing potential, not his skills. He plays no defense. And Felton is better....
Please just sign Lin and start the season tomorrow. I can't take an entire summer of stupid posts :(

neither a good choice, doesn't matter no matter what Kidd will be the PG in the final minutes.

I'm pretty sure Lin's field goal % and FT attempts were much higher though.

Legit Question: Have you liked ANY Knick move this offseason?

Kidd? Camby? Pablo? White? Letting Fields go? Keeping JR? Keeping Novak?

What's all this hate for Felton for? I thought he was good for us when he was here the first time. He was run into the ground by D'antoni, and the only reason he was traded was to land Melo

If he's coming at a cheap price (likely), I'm not sure there isn't much to like about this deal. I'm not sure that there is a huge difference in terms of quality of player between Felton and Lin. Yes, Lin is better, but I don't think he's $23 million dollars better.

Jared Zwerling: I'm just landing & this is bizarre to me, if Lin is not a NYK. Woodson keeps saying "absolutely." Lin is good and a business game-changer. now

Tommy Dee: Listening back to Melo and J Kidd interviews... neither seemed sold on Lin as the guy to QB them to a title. #knicks 1 minute ago

Dude, did you see the games? Sure doesn't seem that way...it's not about the stats. Its about impact and being able to take over games...

LOL sure it is. Nevermind that every game featuring Lin was always competitive because turnovers allow teams to stay in games.

Just admit you were wrong, it's kind of embarrassing. Almost as embarrassing as losing to the Hornets at home.

Felton replaces Fields. Nothing to do with Lin. Remember earlier Grunwald was saying he wasn't sure 100% sure they would match Fields and they were looking at cheaper options. So there you go. Felton can play 2 and comes cheaper. It has nothing to do with Lin.

We are going to play a lot of small lineups. Melo will play lots of 4 and JR will play lots of 3. I can envision plenty of minutes for all 3 PGs.

Even WITH Felton AND Lin, if you look at the roster you only see 9 guys that have been rotation players in the NBA.

Ohh so the TO's had nothing to do with the fact he was starting (when he had never started) and for a team he didn't even have a camp with?

Actually, Grunwald said the same thing for Lin as he did for Fields.

Last night, I posted this exact scenario happening and saying I wouldn't be mad at management if it happened...

now that it's actually looking probable, I'm kinda torn... I really liked the chemistry our team had last year and didn't want major changes, but Lin is overpaid and Felton may be a better option at that price...

hmmm
