Correct. Since we are having a conversation on a message board, and I can effectively only respond to one person at a time. Responding to you is different than talking about you.

If you thought that it was prudent to let Melo walk for nothing, good for you.

If you think your thoughts on the matter was the majority opinion of the board at the time, and the fanbase as a whole, then I completely disagree.

next time just make a post that isn't quoting anybody if you're speaking generally.

Or I can respond to a post and trust that the person reading it can decipher between me addressing the point the person was making vs. me making a personal comment directed specifically at them.

You chose to internalize what I said for some reason. Nothing in my post was directed at you.

Except the pronoun "you" :P

I would of gave Melo the Max and told keep your little discount but no ntc and no trade kicker especially knowing that his contract would of been super trade friendly with the salary cap going up, the little discount he gave was not worth one let alone the both.....especially when his people were saying that if it doesnt work out we ask for a trade.

Just like his heart and mind when signing that contract. Beotch move to take a no trade clause and inforce you stay on this team. GTFO.

Iso ball was a 90's thing now its free flowing fast moving dishing and swishing. Ef this Triangle bull its ancient.

go back to reality tv you are a total moron and know nothing about basketball

The Warriors and Spurs say hello.

Put your money where your mouth is. I bet the Knicks with melo don't reach the second round in the next 3 years

the warriors and spurs (and atlanta and philly pre-dantoni and thibodeau-era chicago....) use pieces of the triangle in their offense. ive watched washington run straight pinch post multiple possessions in a game this year. its ancient? yeah, okay.
go back to reality tv, you don't know basketball.

Little pieces not the Triangle. You just said it yourself. The triangle is outdated they have morphed and advanced it and used little pieces we are still using the ancient triangle with no change from the Chicago days. Like cmon & GTFO with the reality tv stuff wow I'm on VH1 & MTV whoopee freekin dooo. You can make you own youtube series now and become famous. So for you to try and insult me because I'm on tv is stupid. Thats and adolescent move and a cheap shot. I've been a knick fan my whole life and I am just tired of the stupidity that this club portrays like seriously we make the same mistakes over and over.

Both the Spurs and Warriors run triangle sets. Its been altered, I don't wanna take that away from your comeback but its still triangle. Backdoor cuts, big guys who post up but also can pass, player movement and lots of ball movement. Its basic triangle stuff.

They have a large collection of elite players.......we have one and a team full of guys who just proved during trade deadline to hold no value. Thats the difference. Talent. Now if the point was to be pissed at Phil Jackson you are free to enjoy yourself but don't hate the triangle in and of itself. Hate the fact that he's gotten us no talent.

And just in case anybody wants to pull one of my old posts yes, I too had to come to realize this and was a triangle hater myself until learning this. Think about it.

-Is all the Spurs or Warriors passing centralized to the pg position and in a pure passing bubble are either of their pgs even top 5? Scoring wise sure, but assists? No.
-whose doing the passing? Well the answer is its shared but my point is you're just as likely to see Draymond or Duncan have as much assists as Parker or Curry
- hows their defense vs ours. Cause ill tell you, you wouldn't care about the triangle so much if our defense was that good. Maybe in the finals youd analyze it but not today,
- whose thier coach and whos ours? Night and day.

So we got worse talent and worse coaching. Lets rectify at least the coaching this summer Phil. Cause you sure as hell arent attracting any top tier FA. But hey, then next year we can all say " but it isnt his fault he couldnt attract anyone, our record, our record"

Happened once, when it happens twice and we still end up using the cap space on next year equivalent of Afflalo and Lopez.......just promise me yall that Phil doesnt get to be excused from accountability. Please. You will recognize that he engineered this years record right folks? Do you realize he engineered last years record as well....oh well Im asking too much.
