You have any idea how long Dolan refused to fire Isiah Thomas despite fans calling for it, all the crappy moves and even a sexual harassment lawsuit scandal? It took the league applying pressure and even then Dolan still wanted to bring him back.

This is the owner who does crazy crap like blame the state of the franchise on cheerleaders and ban them from performing, or have employees use monitoring equipment to record player conversations, or pick petty feuds like banning famous directors and season ticket holders from the VIP areas just because they refuse to record promotional commercials for him to air alongside the movie rights he purchased, and who would rather release an album and go on tour with a band that he names after himself. Security dragging Oakley out is only the most recent of his idiocies. The only reason he owns the Knicks is because his Cablevision daddy gave MSG and the Knicks to him as a present and reward for going to drug rehab.

It will be a good day when the Knicks get a new owner.

You didn't have a home run franchise cornerstone like Kristaps back then.

Phil can probably play Dolan like a fiddle with the whole exit interview thing. You have no idea how petty and spiteful Dolan can be and how much he needs to have his butt kissed and takes umbrage at being slighted.

As they should!!!

According to a Knicks source, Jackson is asking for the third overall pick in Thursday's draft as well as next year's Brooklyn pick along with Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder. This version of the deal would not include Boston taking on Joakim Noah's contract.

I could get behind that haul

That is a weak ass deal. Ainge should take that and run if that is all Phil is asking for.

Exactly what I was thinking....Ainge will take that deal at the end of the day if that is all we are asking for.

This deal makes sense for both sides. KP is a win now piece that is cost controlled and fills the teams biggest weakness.

I want #3, BK 2018, and one of Brown / Crowder / Smart. I think we're getting greedy asking for 2 of them but I like the aggressiveness. I'm team Phil all the way with this. I knew exactly what he's trying to do. We need 3 pieces more so then 1.

I want the top 3 pick this year, a player, and one of the top picks for next year. We don't need two picks from this year's draft from the Celtics. Every young player isn't a good player and I don't want a team full of young players hoping a solid player comes from out of it.

Gimme a top 3 pick (Jackson or Tatum preferably Tatum)
Crowder or Bradley
One of those future great picks that they have

And I'm fine with that. If we can get more, great. But I'm fine with that right there.

KP is a future cornerstone/win now hybrid Unicorn at the age of 21

Yo, if we get the 3rd pick, Brown, keep our 8th, and get the 2018 BK pick then why would people be mad at that? Could u realistically do much better than that for KP?

He's not worth that, but if he can grab us that hen great. He's not worth the #3, BK next year pick, and the Laker/Philly pick. They going to mortgage their future for KP?

If Phil can pull that off we should all praise the **** out of him.
