Masai sucks. He made a mistake signing Demarre Carroll and is now giving him away using multiple picks just to get rid of him.

When he's not fleecing the Knicks, his record's not that great.

True but as constituted they don't need an infusion of 19 year olds.
But yeah, he definitely messed up with that Carroll deal.

So in turn its a similar situation you are suggesting we are taking on a bad contract whether its from a 3rd team to get more assets.

We are just doing it all at once.

With the Knicks getting a 2018 1st round pick from the Blazers

Why Knicks:
Jettison melo get harkless and a pick

Why rockets:
Upgrade Anderson with Melo at the only cost of downgrading Gordon with Turner.

Why Blazers:
Save a lot of money at the cost of a late non lottery 1st round pick.
Upgrade from Turner to Gordon

Gordon, Ariza and Kelly- I think that's his name pf rookie from Duke for Melo works. Ariza comes home starts at SF and Gordon is a 6th man. Maybe a 2019 1st too?

I think u are underestimating how much of a negative Myers Lenord's contract is. Toronto just gave up a 1st and 2nd to get rid of TWO years of Demar Caroll. Now u want us to take Myers for 3?!? Hell no to this trade.

They lost Beverley and LouWill in the CP3 trade. They're gonna want to keep Gordon to be their 3rd guard/6th man.

Caroll fetched a 1st from a playoff bound team. Knicks would get the same return for Leonard. No other way Portland takes Anderson without the financial savings to do so.

that carroll trade is going to help us in our negotiations. if we have to take on a bad contract in a melo trade then we should be well compensated.
