I don't think C.Lee will be going anywhere as long as we're in the race to make a playoff spot. I hope Perry doesn't forget that we're still a team that's in rebuild mode and C.Lee isn't part of that future so if the right deal came up for him he'd hopefully make that deal. I want draft picks. I want picks for this next draft and future drafts if we can get them.

Re: 2017/2018 NBA Trade/Wishing Well Thread (Cont.)
What teams can use Lee and/or KQ?
Do we want assets or looking to upgrade positions? SF?
Any teams looking to dump long term money, LAL, LAC, Phil, Memphis etc.... names?
Any teams looking for a solid bigmen? Milwaukee?
Zhit what direction are we going in????
Honestly at this point we Fck up are lottery pick and I don't think there's a big difference amongst talent between 15th to 30th pick (maybe an Anfernee Simons will be a wild card)...... so we should just go all in and get a real SF.... so KQ and fillers for X? And maybe our 1st pick (I know im going to get killed just for mentioning trading our 1st, LOL) Etc...
Also on this Noah mess, there is no reason for why Noah is not being showcased in some way... Gleague (home games) or 5 minutes a game in the NBA... that huge contract can't sit there and eat your cap... or if you plan to trade KQ... Noah/Willy can take his minutes... something must change.

The only way I see SP/SM making a deal is if this ambush of road games take the winds out of this Knicks team. I'd be surprised if it didn't. I don't think they'd give away Lee though. if they trade him it would be to a contender only so the assets back may not be so enticing. Lee seems to enjoy his role and is quite valuable for this squad and hasn't ever indicated that he'd want to move on.
KOQ is the most likely guy out in any scenario. I think he opts out and he so inconsistent. if a decent deal comes, the Knicks would take it imo.

I like Lee, KQ (a new yorker) and Noah very much but 1 out 3 have to go by the off season, may two... this is the Guy we should sign next year... Will Barton, who can also play some PG, only 26 years old.

Yeah, probably won't be available, we're already working on an extension

I doubt he ends up in NY and, TBH, don’t really want him.

Would you do a multi team deal where the Knicks sent out Courtney Lee, Lance Thomas and Ramon Sessions for Jerian Grant, Justin Holiday and Evan Turner?

No, lmao. Not even close.
All 3 of them suck. We already had 2 of these scrubs. At least lee is a positive player and is having a career year. He's so much better than turner it's not even funny.

And you probably still believe in Santa, if you think we don't have a contract ready for him....and why would he want to play for that moron Dolan ??? The only think you guys got going for you in NY is KP and HIS agent has already eluded to the fact he may not want to resign in the Big Apple. Do you guys intend to resign Enes ?? Good Luck with your free agency, gents and Merry Christmas.
And FWIW, I, like Santa have no bounds on where I travel, I am FREE !!!!!!

Re: 2017/2018 NBA Trade/Wishing Well Thread (Cont.)
So wouldn't it be the best idea to stay with what we have and re-sign E.Kanter and in 2020 when we have both C.Lee and J.Noah coming off the books which would be around $30 million to sign a big name in free agency. We'd have some really good pieces in KP, THJ, Kanter and Frank to put another big piece with. We could upgrade at PG if Frank isn't the type of starter we need by then and if he is then add a true SF to this team. We'd also have 3 1st round picks added at that time as well that we could hit big on along with a couple of 2nd round picks. We'd have to get KP on board with waiting another 2 years after this season and get Kanter for the right price but we could be looking good in 2020.
