Only a few wanted Monk. A lot of people feel we didn't get enough for Willy and/or didn't properly raise his value, even though he's a no defense playing center who can't shoot in today's modern NBA. It's a fine haul, not great, not bad. It's a minor move being portrayed as a travesty.

He was already knocking down the corner 3 at the end of his rookie year. FOH with he cant shoot.

He hit 4 threes his entire rookie season...4.

They keep him when his value is sky high, insane per 36 production at the end of his rookie year, only 22, dirt cheap contract. Then they don't play him all year, and move him for peanuts when his value is at an all time low. They should have moved O'Quinn, who has value, and showcased Hernangomez for the rest of this year, and traded him in the offseason. Lmfao at this **** franchise. We're always going to suck. KP will be gone as soon as he can get out of this circus.

I don't care what your opinion is of WHG, you showcase a guy to build his value, then dump him to the highest bidder. You don't destroy a guy's value coming off an All Rookie season, THEN trade him. Perry and Mills are a pair of schmucks. I hate this team.

SHowcasing willy or not you weren't getting a 1st rounder for him. He is what he is.... a low ceiling bench big. He has too many flaws right now to project him to be anything else than that...

I never said I expected a first. Hell, I wouldn't have traded him at all.

That's fine but we have to see the next moves after this trade before we judge it. All-Rookie teams mean nothing to me. Actually watching WHG tells me he destined to be a bench big. Getting 2 2nds and another young player to me seems like at least a non-loss on that deal (in today's market) regardless of whether we played him or not.

KOQ better be the next...at least make some sense by bringing up Kornet and or Hicks and see what we have there...this should be an extended try out period for the next year and a half...

We're resigning KOQ now. After we get rid of Noah, the center position will be manned by Enes and KOQ.
