If Biden nominates some Republican senator from blue state to cabinet position, what happens with that seat? If GOP has any party loyalty, that senator must decline, no?

Those two tweets don't particularly go together. One is basically saying to Trump "Hey stupid the markets are going up because Biden's transition has started. You don't get credit for that."

The comment tweet was a fairly arbitrary response that could have appeared anywhere IMO, but it does make sense as a standalone comment

Earlier in his term Trump was threatening the nuclear annihilation of North Korea

Trump repeatedly asked military members on his cabinet why he couldn't blow off some nukes in a military exercise and they had to keep telling him that's now how it works

He is anything but a stable genius. Sane people have had plenty of reasons to be concerned about this lunatic's finger on the button. That's what that tweet is saying regardless of its relevance to the other tweet

Jillian’s tweet is irrelevant other than she looks kinda hot.

Her tweet makes no sense, but I see that both of you aren't talking about her tweet, necessarily.

As to the point about Trump and wars, etc. Let's not bother delving into the past of every president and how each one has basically committed a war crime at one point or another. That's why her tweet doesn't make any sense.

As for the "market crashing" and then not ...what else is new, Trump says whatever nonsense he has to at the time. He's a conman.

Had I known that including the tweet from the hot chick would’ve derailed my main point about the stock market, I would’ve surely left it out. Geez.

I, as a former Democrat, blame them just as much as the Republicans for these wars. There.

Do what delete the tweet? so I guess there was nothing to see and there is nothing the reps can do in GA except I agree with the morons on social media all the G reps should boycott the run off

I believe it is referring to the same images in this tweet. It's people on Parler advocating to write in Trump for senate or Boycott the GA runoffs. It's hilarious, but likely just liberals trolling. I want to join Parler and start spreading this around, but they just got hacked so...

Iraq and Afghanistan were initiated by Bush so what's your point?

Blah blah blah Clinton! Really? Jillian Barbierre should just stick to pushing up her boobs in a tight bra and leave politics to smart people. Trump hasn't started any wars and has actually brokered peace deals...same can't be said for Biden or Harris. I can't stand Trump but...no reason to lie on her part or deflect on yours.

Trump recently shipped a whole onslaught of weapons and military tech to United Arab Emirates. I wonder if that had anything to do with this "peace" deal.

Depends on the state. I think most states the Governor can assign the replacement. So if Biden was smart he would give Richard Burr and Pat Toomey some bull positions like ambassador. They’re retiring any way in 2022 both Pennsylvania and North Carolina have Democratic Governors. You just got 2 more Democratic seats in the Senate and Mitch McConnell can go **** himself.

Cabinet member still don't set policy. They can push for whatever they believe in, but the president dictates their actions. So as far as who is in charge of what, their actions will reflect on Biden in the end, not the party they worked for in the past. Whatever HUGE problems you're predicting remain to be seen, because if Biden ends up behaving like a Republican he doesn't need a Republican to do that. Judge the results

For the sake of argument, lets say he puts a trump supporting republican in a ceremonial position when he's not even doing that for progressives, whats that telling the rest of the world? Like it or not , progressives are still needed, antagonizing them trying to be cute is just stupid

He’s not going to put a Trump supporting Republican in his cabinet. I think he’s just paying that lip service to Republicans, I doubt they’ll be any in important cabinet positions. My question for you is who do you consider Progressive? The term Progressive has been so demagogued that I feel like it’s just a litmus test whether you support Bernie or the Squad. Do you consider Corey Booker Progressive? How about Jay Inslee?

You're sounding like someone from Fox when you use words like "demagogued" and "litmus test" and "Bernie and The Squad" which surely are pejorative descriptions of progressives and the values we support.

You should know the answer to your own question by now. I betcha, if you tried, you could list what we stand for. Go ahead and give it a shot. What is it about progressivism that scares you away from leaning into it?

If he adds a Republican to a completely powerless position that they’re qualified for does it really matter? A very sneaky move would be to assign a Senate Republican in a blue state to a powerless position.

As far as Warren and Sanders are concerned, aren't they better off using their seniority in the Senate and holding down their seats anyway?

I’d love for Elizabeth Warren to be Treasury Secretary and Bernie to be Secretary of labour or ambassador to Israel. But at the very best case Biden would have 50-50 Democratic Senate and Schumer would have to nuke the filibuster to get anything done. Taking either of these guys out of their seats would be unnecessarily handicapping himself. I expect Warren will be named to head the CFPB but of course that won’t pass the progressive litmus test.

There is no nuking the filibuster since the republican from west virginia already said that he wouldnt do it. Point still stands though. Bernies gov is a republican anyway so Joe couldnt put him anywhere even if he wanted to

Havent studied their positions enough to be able to comment, but Id assume inslee is def one. But who wed consider a progressive is unimportant, biden was given a legit list of acceptable candidates and so far only one person from that list ( I believe yellen who's def not progressive), made said list.
