Only if we make it to the playoffs. Can't go wrong with Clarke with a late 1st round pick imo

hopefully he just stays in school

I posted a link yesterday that says he’s reportedly not coming back for school. For selfish reasons I hope he stays in the draft so we can scoop him up in the late first round... sorta like IQ. But he should stay in school and become a lottery pick next year.

do any mock drafts have him going in the late 1st still? ESPN has him 45th and he doesn't exist on tankathon. might want to start thinking pistons pick. unless he kills workouts or something

Not sure tbh. Imo, I think Clarke is a lottery talent at least and I would still move up for him. I wouldn’t take any chances. I think his potential is insane

well, that was the case for taking IQ 25th instead of in the 2nd round and that's looking like a good decision, guess you'd need to gauge the sentiment around the league about him heading up to the draft. but by the looks of it we won't have a late first round pick, right now we have 13 and 17, they look to be solidifying in the mid first and I wouldn't take him there, 31-32 seems like it could be worth a shot to me though

I was thinking we package our Detroit pick along with Frank/Knox for a late first round pick and get Clarke. If not, just take him with the Detroit pick (hoping he’s still there)

I feel like I’m committing a sin but I like Nix. He needs to lose weight but I actually think he is pretty good. He is better than a lot of PGs like cooper etc to me. He is kinda fun to watch to play. I would be cool with him at the right spot He is a very good table setter in my eyes. Even with the weight he is not slow. imma stop underrating him.

I still think Ziaire will end up better when they are done developing and have him firmly in 6th, but Bouknight looks really damn good too and should be ready quicker.

You might have been right about BJ Boston, he's now hitting 3pters. But I still remain reticent given Kentucky still sucks and he's their lead guy. Plus from what I've seen his body isn't Big East ready let alone NBA ready. He looks like Robbie Benson in that old film as boy among men. Still, maybe a late first or second rounder. Would not spend a lottery pick on him right now.

Yeah if we can’t get Lavine, I think I would like for us to get Bouknight

I'm still not super-high on Boston, just feel like it's hard to judge him too harshly given what a mess that team around him has been & his potential is still really interesting.

Ziaire & Keon are the projects that I love in this class. Ziaire will need time to fill out & Keon to polish his shot, but both have absolutely insane ceilings in the long-run and seem like the type of high-IQ/effort kids who will put in the work to get there.
