unfortunately can't happened based on base compensation.

I believe it can. I’ve seen a lot trade scenarios going by the cba rules working

So base year compensation still applies? Outgoing salary counts as half?

Not sure. I only saw trades on espn trade machine that had Ayton and Randle going out for each other and it worked lol

Expecting the worst today!

Leon should be fired if he losses Brunson. No excuses. Kid is your damn Godson, your former client and you just gave his pops a job! If you cannot close this deal, you gotta go!

He’s making a lot though plus has a trade kicker. I would love if Phoenix takes him but dont think they would.

Phoenix is going to do whatever they can to win before the window closes on them with Paul's retirement and Booker leaving. They have 2 chances left.

Randles not it though. They would be better off just keeping Ayton. The way the Suns play and fit together, Randle is the opposite. He would take the team down a notch

They tried to trade Ayton for Sabonis who’s worse than Randle. I think they would def be interested in Randle. Randle being a 3rd option on that team would be ideal for him.

I don't know about that. CP3 is clearly the leader of the Suns and even Randle could respect that. I think Randle just hates us the fans of NY

I think the league might value Sabonis more than Randle to be honest

his PER was 22. He shot 46% from three - but that's probably an outlier since his FT% is around 68%. Still...hopefully less clogging slogging Thibs and more today's NBA?

But they didn’t offer him for Randle. Knicks would have jumped at that offer

He’s Phoenix best option for getting real value back in a trade for Ayton

begley......
I’d expect the Knicks to waive Gibson and then give strong consideration to signing him to a new contract later in the offseason; though, as SNY reported, the club has several backup centers on its radar.

Among them: Isaiah Hartenstein and Andre Drummond, per sources. Bleacher Report first noted Hartenstein on the Knicks’ radar. The Knicks will be aggressive in their pursuit of Hartenstein, per SNY sources. The Orlando Magic, as Marc Stein reported, is also a suitor for Hartenstein. Teams with interest in Drummond say the Knicks have a degree of interest in the center.

We don’t know that. Knicks weren’t even trying to move Randle at all. And they probably still aren’t.
