They'll tank next season... trade/dump Jrue/KP/Hortford... let JB and Prichard go ham. Then they'll add another piece or two for when Tatum returns the season after. KD made a nice return after his injury and Tatum is way younger.

Didn’t wanna put this in the pg thread to ruin the celebration but I’m kinda bummed about Tatum’s injury. Been following him since college and to know that he might never ever be the same player really sucks.

I'm not as invested as you are with Tatum, but you know a good dude when you see one. When Joel went down and before he hurt Mitch (among other things), the only thing I told my child was we don't want to win that way. Afterwards, we started seeing the dirty Joel, and all that sympathy went out the window.

Tatum, on the other hand, is an ambassador of the game, and an excellent role model. You know he's a good dude. Speedy recovery to him.

I never felt They would pass up the chance to have a white American Star.

If you trade him out for say Giannis all you do is increase your payroll by a lot, with still no guarantee of championship.

By picking Flagg you keep your costs lower and can still compete cause you got Kyrie and AD.

Flagg is going to put butts in seats in Dallas.

IMO they would be dumb to trade him.

Indiana is a resilient team. They’ve had some thrilling comeback wins. They might actually be a tougher opponent than Cleveland. I still rather face them though because of the history but I don’t think it would be an easy series
