Thibs = Dogsh** when it comes to in game adjustments, offensive creativity, and lack of implementing zones or other defensive schemes to cover KAT + Brunson deficiencies
KAT = dogsh** on defense and always in drop coverage or committing random fouls
Hart = dogsh** on defense as he’s become a turnstile, gives up open 3’s, his defender constantly blows by and hasn’t been able to hit 3’s since January

Just hot dogsh** and yet they never addressed these things all thru the year

Crazy all the negativity here for the most successful season in 25 years. This was a competitive series, we were not far from taking it. Thibs is gonna get another shot next year, obviously. You'd have to be delusional to think otherwise. If he trusts the bench a little more next year, and starts to incorporate the sophomores, we're back in play to take the east again next year. I don't get all the doom and gloom. Some people need some mood stabilizers.

Yup. Indy wasn't that good last year. They're really good this year, so . . . very different series. Last year we were clearly the better team. We were just really banged up. This year, hate to say it, but they were the better team.

Sure, if we would have brought back last year's Knicks we would have beat them. But while the Pacer's developed continuity, we brought back pratically a new band.

A worse band.

This team does not have the fight and spirit of that team. This team does not represent New York.

We became more "Cavs" (regular season offense centric and kinda soft"ish") and less Knicks. Interesting enough he was good enough to beat the Celts, but not Indiana...or maybe it could have been if the could was.....

But last years squad if healthy destroys that years Indiana. Indiana got better...without adding anyone of note. Perhaps we can as well...get that "familiarity" bump. But we'll need an identity first.

just finished and obv disappointed af.
it was bad all around ...
Turnovers and transition defense completely killed us
Towns and Brunson were awful, Thibs rotations as well
Got absolutely ZERO from Hart and Deuce. Bench in general... (Shamet hit 3 garbage time threes to screw the stats)
yeah sucks... but we lost in the series in the first two home games. no doubt.

We were still among the last 3 teams standing even with a new team. Chin up guys and be respectful to one another.

this.
That Towns sucked in this last game has gifted us 4 month of "can't win with him" posts from certain posters. gonna be exciting.

I'd love to see each and everyone of them back next season. Also Thibs, but in the FO.

KAT and JB, it has been an honor sinking with this ship. We will be back stronger.

our bench was 2-14 until the Shamet garbage time threes. So our entire bench was outscored by Thomas Freaking Bryant. Think about that for a minute.

Trying to put this on him, after he was the one starter who won his matchup this series, shows just how stupid this board can be at times.

its not about being stupid, its about defending agendas to death.

one gotta go because we were 2 wins away from the nba finals? this isn't 2k, bro. We had a great season and I am pretty sure Leon will continue to build on that core. No matter if you like Towns or not.

I am willing to go through next season with thibs as coach
but on the condition that the coaching staff will be totally revamped

if its hugely the same staff, then the experience would be the same, and thats a no-go for me

i was just saying some threads ago, that both jalen and towns should play less together. They dont have synergy

they should both start at 1q then slowly stagger, each surrounded by 4 defendera

Yep unfortunately thats what the boards been turned into because mods give out 755 last warnings to the same core of troll posters who would rather be """'"""right""""""" than see the Knicks win and be wrong.

I 1000% agree.

man, despite the loss... what a year.

- Back to back 50+ win reguar seasons.
- Took out the defending champs
- First Conference Finals in 25 (twenty FIVE) years
- KAT and Brunson both making All Star AND All NBA
- OG was two way monster for big stretches
- Hart gave us big time energy and broke Clydes trible double record
- Mitch coming back strong in the playoffs and gave us a different look

Made me proud af to be a Knicks fan this season! Already looking forward to 25-26.

This is year 1 of our championship drive. The result hurts, especially against the Pacers again, and feels like we have away the first game and thus the series. We’ll be back stronger next year though. I’m 100% sure of it.

Unlike most of the people here, I'm not angry, just sad because it's over. Damn, I'm gonna miss waking up at 2 a.m. to watch the game. But I'm grateful to NYK in so many ways. Especially because this season has created a special bond between my daughter and me. We were in NYC in January 2024 and she was not that thrilled when I took her to MSG to watch the not-so-exciting blowout of Portland. I even had to explain the rules to her. But she was thrilled by the whole experience.
Then she went to university to another country and somehow became a huge fan. She celebrated her 19th birthday two weeks ago in Brunson jersey. Every single game we were texting, sometimes on a video call, commenting, screaming together, enjoying Ws and grieving Ls. She now knows everything, double screens, drop and switch coverage, you name it. I'm sure she was crying last night, 500 KM from me...
NY Knicks work in mysterious ways.
