Some great battles have gone down...

Double/Deuce massacre. He is one of the most creative battle rappers period. I'm a huge fan of his. Peep the third round and OT for his stand out moments, Matlock is WACK.

Swave...cleanest rapper in the game imo. Dude is a killer. Big Kannon is nice, he caught hate from the crowd and went in on dudes haha. I respect that.

These guys had 7 days to prep for this...Illmac KILLED IT, he's scary good.

The evolution of Star Almighty...he bodies this. Check the bars he brought...HUGE STEP UP from us trashing him in his two on twos with Phran.

Probably because you love Ghostface and Action is like an extension of him. Sticks to what he knows and he kills it every time.

I watched the last two battles posted when they first popped up, Illmac did his thing. It was kind of odd seeing him since he has been coming off some subpar performances. Star Almighty really stepped up, hopefully he can bring it again when 2x2's happen again because he was always the weak link. PC is interesting but I thought Star took him and Lance did as well. He got some nice lines but something about him really annoys me, like a lot.

PC's hype men give me a headache, he's cocky...that's my problem with him. If you aren't top tier...you shouldn't act superior to everyone. Star beasted at Don't Flop against a cat named Nugget and then had this monster showing. He started a lil slow, but the story is a flip of another story I think PC told or something...then he just went off, especially that multi with the Harvard Scholars...damn. Dude has slowed his flow and cadence up, inserted a bit more gun play and added more complexity to his pen game rather than leaving freestyle gaps.

Illmac and Thesaurus are back as a team in the KOTD Grand Prix. They annihilated a team in their home town, then Illmac almost got into a fight with one of the dudes (Not Illmac's fault at all though). That Grand Prix also features Fresco and Real Deal on the other side of the brackets...Fresco Dominated their first round match-up!

Noreaga, had a mixtape with some decent tracks. Love the beat on this one... He really can't make music like he used to, but I still pull for him.

Long awaited battle... Sadly it was a total flop. Both these cats are capable of a lot more. I think Hollow clearly won this, but only because goods was more disappointing. Hollow better come a lot better for Dizaster because Diz is ITCHIN' to prove he is the the top battler going right now.

Apparently I read it wrong and this came out last month and I just realized it, so I overlooked this one.

Neither of them are as good as they were in the late 90's but I've been waiting about 12 years for this EP so I'm excited regardless.

Just watched the documentary Black and Blue: Hip Hop Police...and I was pretty surprised at the things they showed in that film. Really shocked at these dudes using hip hop lyrics as a means to harass and go after rappers. Definitely giving it my stamp of approval as worth a look!

WAsnt a total flop. Best showings? No but on the second and third watch it grew on me a lot. Hollow had some good stuff. Goodz hasn't had consistent bars since the K shine battle.
