I wonder what the phone calls between Phil and Jeanie are sounding like right now??

I would think Phil could manipulate Jeanie into telling him how the Lakers really feel about their chances of signing Melo or if it's all just a smoke screen for him getting a sign and trade to Chicago or maybe he wouldn't have to manipulate her at all and she would want to help Phil.

The sign and trade thing seems plausible but I think it's telling that no one is mentioning that in the media. Not one person.

Trade Melo or Retain Melo... Which do all of you want to do?

I personally, would really like to trade him and start fresh. We have our pick next year and idc if we suck. I want to see us build a young team and then sign some marquee guys in FA in a year or two. Durant would be sweet.

Unless we get Lebron this year, i think we are better off trying to build a team the right way for once.

Y'all are under some strange impression that we can just pick n choose free agents. They have to choose us and they aren't choosing some rebuild team of youngins and role players.

Doesnt hurt that the Knicks are located in the greatest city in the USA and has Phil Jackson running the team.

Im assuming you would rather retain Melo. Which is fine, but he is getting older and has had shoulder issues the past few seasons. I want a clean slate, but at the same time Melo is a great player and i wouldnt mind seeing what Phil can do with him.
