Relax guys. Melo still needs to cash on a few more free dinners this week. I am sick of the haters getting mad at Melo cashing in on the free steak, lobster and dom perignon that he earned and deserves

There is zero benefit to him rushing to anything. Or making anything official. Anyone that needs to know anything, knows already.

He may also be waiting to see if Phil can magically unload Amare and Bargs and pull off the impossible and sign he and Lebron. Or maybe he just wants Pau to come here at the MLE because then he knows next season will be Marc and he believes that is enough to compete in the East.

Not sure it is, but a competitive team may be enough to make Melo happy.

agreed, phil camp really doesn't leak much unless they want it leaked for negotiating purposes. But something is about to drop

agreed 100% what if he agreed to the supermax today and then realized that if he took 1 million less we would be under the tax apron to be able to acquire maybe Pau Gasol via a S&T.

I am sure he would want to go back in time and take the 1 million less to bring in Pau.

That is the point, I think he is just waiting on phil to tell him what kind of #'s would make sense. We can't decide that till some other things happen first.
