We still don't really know much about these character's past. I wish that this show would do like Lost did to show what their lives were like before the zombie apocalypse broke out so that we can atleast form more of a connection to them. For instance, was it ever stated what life was like for Glenn and Tyrese before all of this happened? We don't know very much about their backgrounds at all. We have only gotten flashbacks from a handful of the characters. I am still enjoying the show, especially last episode, but it could be alot better. Hopefully they are learning from their mistakes and the spinoff is better.
Tyrese used to play in the NFL
Glenn was a pizza delivery boy
Are you for real or playing? If so, when did they mention this on the show? Or is this from the comics?
They mentioned Glenn in season 1. If im not mistaken, it was the reason he knew how to navigate through the city so well. No, they didnt touch upon Tyrese in the NFL, in the tv series.
Abraham/Rosita/Eugene havent really had pre-apocalypse development, but im pretty sure the other characters have had.
-story behind Michionne's walkers and that she had a kid
-Daryll had a lot of pre-apocalyptic development (Merle stories, house burning down)
-Carol's pre-apocalyptic character development essentially played out in front of the viewer's eyes with her husband and child dying.
-the Greene Family and Tara (and Family) were pretty much sheltered when we found them, so you got a good look at who they were before all this.
The show shouldnt focus on what happened before the apocalypse. The reason why some Alexandria scenes seem so off is because of how similar it is to pre-apocalypse society.
the show actually has stuff happen now. Im glad they cut out all the useless dialogue. I actually was really pissed about Tyrese dying. It made no sense of how the zombie just appears out of no where. He was a physically strong person, but he wasnt emotionally strong enough to endure the zombie apocalypse
