I'm dead serious. I've seen enough legends come to the Knicks and have their legacies tarnished by failing to deliver. KD will be no exception. Nobody is an exception. The backlash might not even have to wait til a year or so, it can start immediately. Signing him to a max deal with no timetable of when he is even gonna play or how good he will be when he returns, oh there will be instant eyebrows being raised. You think the media nationwide is going to be singing our praises? They will spin it how they want and I can't even blame them this time if they give us negative press. The gamble here is huge. He better deliver, that's all I know or it's getting ugly

well you seem to have it all figured out :dontknow:

New York is desperate for winning they are desperate for a guy that wants to play here and to call the garden his own. If KD makes that choice to play here he will be loved for that. There is risk in any decision...for a player that is great.

But this isn't about the knicks nor was the tweet I was referencing...it was about KD initial decision and the backlash he took. He would take absolutely no backlash coming the the knicks because people would be completely in aw he is a knick.

I think you got it twisted. We are desperate for success on the court. KD is just a marketing tool right now, just Isiah was, just like Melo was, just like Phil was, etc. We are being sold on a name, that's it. But that name is only going to take you so far in NYC.

People were in awe that he was on the Warriors. Certain people. Then there were people who looked at it differently. You think everybody is going to be in awe he comes to the Knicks? Man.....

The only way I can see it working out the way you think it will is if he brings Kawhi with him. Him coming alone is a disaster

Kyrie to BK ain’t official until it’s pen to paper. Just saying.

And I think we are being hoodwinked here by thinking KD wants the Knicks because he wants to play here and call MSG his home. He wants to take advantage of his businesses, get richer and clean up his tarnished image. And honestly I don't care about that as long as I know you are the top 3 player in the league and you gonna bring it every night. But not only are we going to get used because of his brand but we aren't even going to reap the benefits of him being a top 3 player. He might not even be top 15 by the time he returns.

I’ve given a lot of praise to this BKN club b/c their management team has been awesome, but they need to distance themselves away from this Nets Daily account. It’s absolutely awful.

I'm one of the only people here you don't need to convince. Many fans are overly sensitive about the harsh reality outside of the 48 minutes on the floor, but at a certain point in this sport you have to draw a line in the sand and only groom or solicit savages or else you get stuck with Instagram puzzies whose true heart's desire is to leverage their net worth.

I DON'T FUKKING CARE IF LEBRON OR KD OR WHOMEVER WANT TO BECOME BILLIONAIRES. Keep it to yourself and save it for your financial advisors. You'll have plenty of time to play Daddy Warbucks after you retire. Until then, you're getting paid a half a fukken million dollars per 48 minutes so excuuuuuuuuuuussse me if I want their undivided attention on the game of basketball.

The world is full of greedy douches. I want guys who are grateful to be paid exorbitantly to play the sport.

There are a lot of good players that populate the top 15. KD will be lucky to be a top 50 player post-achilles.

That brings it back to his manager and my original point. He should be advising him on how negatively this can impact his career but he probably hasnt and wont because there are a lot of $$$ staring them both in the face.

I don’t see the necessity of Bev to the Bulls but he would be a good fit for the Mavs.

Bev and Randle are who the Mavs should go after.

Idk how plugged in this guy is, but he makes it seem like there’s little interest from the DAL side on Randle.

Idk why. KP and him should compliment each other well.

Durants not dumb. He knows what's at stake if he comes to the knicks. If he comes here and losses he will get killed and I'm sure he knows that. Part of the reason will be the challenge. A big part would be he wants to win here

If he wants more money the easy call is starting in golden state. His Buisness would be fine there.

The name Rich Kleinman has become a pus-filled reference AFAIK. Instead of what's good for a roster you'll join, you have pundits and fans yakking like slaves about how Rich Kleinman is a giant Knicks fans and how that will influence KD's decision. Really? Fukoff!

But add KD, develop our youth, get another top pick and maybe sign or trade for another top player and we are on to something.
