It's obvious to fans, media and is evidenced by the stats that Elf has a negative influence on the Knicks when he is on the floor but Thibs loyalty in the face of doubting and scrutiny speaks volumes to other players thinking about the Knicks as a new home how he will stick by them if they struggle and the mob comes for them.
We see the missed shots, TOs and advanced stats groaning with every moment having to witness it but the players know about the inside the locker room and behind the scenes dynamic that we may not see outwardly. This speaks to them in a way we will never understand.
Even though it's incredibly frustrating watching the Knicks be handicapped at the start of every half I'm going ot be patient with this situation because....well, I have zero input in what happens so effit, why incur angst for essentially something that effects almost nothing in my own life. It's a game.

We have the tie breaker. All we need to do is win out and Miami needs to lose one. I’m not waiving the towel now

Yet you spent 10 minutes typing up a post to basically say you don’t care so obliviously it does effect you

Nope, Hawks will not lose their last 2, and even if Knicks win last 2, Miami would need to lose, 3 way tie Hawks get 4 by winning division. Hawks have the easiest schedule

Elfrid's sub-15 minutes of playtime, despite being the starting pg -- is not what I would call "loyalty". It feels like he is just out there playing token minutes, maybe because of contractual obligation or stipulation.

Heat, Hawks and Knicks are tied. We have 3 games left. If we win out and Hawks win out, Miami has to just lose one to the Bucks or Sixers and we get the 4th seed because we have the tiebreaker over the Hawks. So like I said we just need to win out and hope Miami loses one.

I saw earlier that Butler might be out against Philly. That could be the one loss we're looking for.

Yeah 5th seed is my target but we probably resting guys.

Oh, and Randle is not a star player. He shouldn’t be handling the ball half the time. I don’t want to see him maxed.
Yes, how I long for the days when teams dumped the ball into the post 50 times a game
