I'll say this, this is a team that Thibs doesn't have to worry about guys showing up out-of-shape. Actually I think all our guys are top tier when it comes to being physically in shape and putting in the work. Can't think of anyone who he will have a problem with.

Hypothetically speaking, what if RJ's shot went in the tank or he went on the IL for a muscle injury and during that time Burks started and we went on a tear. So when RJ comes back, Thibs decides to keep Burks in the starting lineup. How about that?

RJ has some warts, but I think the biggest reason he's not in the top 100 is he doesn't jump high enough or move fast enough. Doing something flashy, even if it made him zero % more effective as a player, would probably move him up 15 spots in one of these polls. Stuff that catches the eyes of casuals, which I swear is half the people creating national sports content.

Most of it is just trolling the tristate area/NYC for clicks, as stated.

Otherwise, I'm legit psyched for this upcoming season.

The Knicks should be able to put 4 decent (at least) shooters on the floor at all times and pretty easy to have 3 guys on the floor at all times who can put the ball on the floor and create for themselves and others.

If Thibs got all wacky, for Thibs, Knicks could put Randle at the 5 and Obi at the 4 and have 5 shooters on the floor, but it will never happen.

And I see Fournier as not only upgrading Bullocks, but more upgrading RJ as an effective wing and then RJ upgrading Bullock.

And RJ becomes a 3rd and even at times 4th option, reducing the pressure, the quality of defenders on him and sort of counterintuitively, helping him to grow as a player.

Players who can shoot
Walker/Rose
Fournier/Burks
RJ/IQ
Randle/Obi? (I think he'll take it up a notch)
Situational shooting contributors: Knox, Grimes, McBride

That 7->11 guys who can shoot it to one degree or another, but all at least "good"

Players who can create for themselves/others
Walker/Rose
Fournier/Burks
Randle

RJ - somewhat
Again - should be at least 3 guys on the floor at any give time who can do that.

Still think this team can win 48-50 games.
Health permitting.

Timmy is number 79 on that list. Nobody is mad that we let him go...former draft pick...actually plays a big role on a playoff team...actually plays next to Doncic...no one, ok lol

Wasn't Randle out of the top 100 last year on some lists or at least ranked really low?

If anything it'll just push RJ as he seems to do better with a chip on his shoulder
