I wish someone could sim this. I'm interested in seeing how well my team performs.
If I could find a roster with the overseas players/rookies, I wouldn't mind doing it.

Don't bother wasting your time...let's just do a coin flip for the championship between the 2 teams that sport LeBron and Kobe.

Here's what Magz had in the rules towards the bottom of this section
In the end, all Points from the 2 Judging Criteria (Simulation and Judges) will be tallied, and the Teams will be ranked from Most Points accumulated to Least Points accumulated.
If true KLN take an L Homie.....
and more
-Any GM/Team that does not have at least 12 "Playable" Players by the time Judging/SIMing starts and Rosters are locked, will have a Player(s) assigned to them at the Commish's discretion (and trust me, I won't start with cheap Players)
-After that, either the SIMing or Judging will start.

Roll of the dice? A spirited game of Chutes and Ladders between the 2 GM's?

Unless something changed, I recall Mags saying no sim. I'm guessing he just forgot to take that out.

He may have just like there haven't been updated rules on other matters concerning this B.A.T. This will be filed away and duly noted so that we improve in this area also for the next B.A.T.

Can I get a detailed analysis of my team from one of the experts?
hey sorry I'm late and I am not actually an expert ha but I do like your team. I liked the beasley pick and would actually start him over speights but I like the fact that you can slide speights to center if yao is out for the beginning of the season. I think riley never liked beasley but he might get a chance to shine on a younger team or one that won't be so intolerant of signs of immaturity. with yao healthy I think you're a contender, if not you are probably a first round type of team. I think rubio will make an impact in the nba right away but there is the question of whether he is eligible for this season or not because of his buyout clause. if not this season, it will be a very good one the next.

You can email me your selection if you'd like. I'm on the West Coast and should be up for a while handling some business.

I'm good, I only get like 4 hours of sleep a night anyways. But I have 5 more picks until mine and I don't anticipate all of them making their selections at this time of night.

We could easily split the 2009 draftees and 2010 draftees into tiers with an absolute Max Profile Scale. Like all NBA non rookie players have a maximum pt total of 100pts, rookies and 1yr experienced players have a maximum total of 75pts since they aren't represented with a real player profile. Then split the draft board up from those 2 draft yrs 2009 and 2010 into tiers. My suggestion would be break all 60 picks into 4 tiers and each tier represents a certain percentage total of their maximum pt eligibility from those draft yrs. So for example
2009 Draft Max Player pts total is 90(in all categories)
2010 Draft Max Player pts total is 80(in all categories)
2009 draft split into 4 tiers (including Rubio and all foreign drafted players)
Picks 1-15 receive 90% of the 90pt total in all categories
Picks 16-30 receive 80% of the 90pt total in all categories
Picks 31-45 receive 70 of the 90pt total in all categories
Picks 46-60 receive 60% of the 90pt total in all categories
2010 draft split into 4 tiers (including foreign drafted players
Picks 1-15 receive 85% of the 80pt total in all categories
Picks 16-30 receive 75% of the 80pt total in all categories
Picks 31-45 receive 65 of the 80pt total in all categories
Picks 46-60 receive 45% of the 80pt total in all categories
Create the individual profiles with this criteria. Now of course each player shouldn't receive Maximum % allowed in each category but we are giving a base to use as a rule to build a profile. Take for instance we're going to build a John Wall profile
Categories are
Passing.... 68pts
Dribbling.... 68pts
Defense.... 68pts
Strength.... 68pts
Shooting.... 68pts
Scoring.... 68pts
Is this somewhat tideous? Yeah but it should be done to make this more fun. Otherwise we're simply building teams and having it judged off of personal preferences. Obviously every player from these past 2 drafts wouldn't be drafted by us GMs.
I like SIMing because it's realistic(although random). Players get injured, tired, worse or better as the season progresses in a real NBA season. So why not do it for this competition as we are building teams? Otherwise why are GMs in this draft already being overly criticized for drafting players who have a history of injury if SIMing isn't a factor? Judges/GMs might as well assume a team will have a full season of healthy players regardless of who they pick correct?
For example if Yao Ming is assumed healthy(SIMing no factor) he's a Top 30 player point blank period.
