Our "superstars" blew as usual. our coach blows. not much else to say. we simply are not a good team and i hope our pick is top 3 or something or there is going to be insult added to injury when the rockets get a lottery pick out of their trade with us.

If we kept Mozgov, we could have paid up for a real PG instead of signing Tyson. I like Tyson, but this is now looking ridiculous.

the moment we made that trade i said that giving up mozgov was unnecessary and we should have never done that. adding him to the trade was an idiotic move. he is starting for a team that is a top team in the west. brutal trade.

Denver said the same thing in their press conference

It's just plain obvious you want a cookie or some prize for being "right" about the Melo trade and you won't be satisfied until we're a lottery team and Gallo is hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy. What are you trying to prove at this point? Let it play out without forcing your interpretation of the trade onto every little thing.

how about this.. I will substitute the cookie and being right for a team that can win games. how about that.. this is all I ask for as a fan who suffered through losing seasons, and then was promisedthat this trade was to make us better.. not worse.......

The problem isn't that we "gutted" the team, the problem is that we lost our PG at the start of the season and overrated some of our role players.

Which PG did we lose at the start of our season? Baron? The past his prime guy with a bad back who cleveland dumped and who fell into our laps well after we were declared an elite team and top three seed by the certain masses. Or Chaucny? Well i personally think that loss was bigger than anticipated. But he had one year left and the team wanted a center.

And which players did we overrate? TD? I think hes playing exactly how i would of expected him to play. The rookies are unknowns and the rest are league minimum guys who you can pretty much expect the minimum from. Chandler is playing like i thought he would. Around a 10/9 guy who plays solid defense. I guess you can point to Amare but i dont think its that much of surprise since hes never been able to thrive without a pg and hes going to lose alot of shots to Melo.

Someone said that on this board but I don't believe any such statement was ever made by Baron at all.

You're right here. He should not be shooting this much if he's not 100%. Melo is an alpha scorer who wants to take over but it hurts you when he's off.

We can't make final judgement on the trade until the season is over. Why are people so fickle and impatient? Our team is not a finished product... have some patience before declaring the trade a failure and deeming this team worse than the other.

calling gallinari not an athlete is pretty dumb, there's not many 6'10" wing players that can do what he does.

Well I think we've beaten this dead horse again lol. I'm going to let the dead horse sleep some now so we can continue to beat him again soon.

Bottom line though: TKF is validated in his love of Gallo -- let's face it, he embarrassed us last night. But one game does not a career make. Melo and Pierce are HOFers most likely ... Gallo is a guy playing for his next contract and a guy who is pretty clearly worse than guys drafted after him (Gordon and Lopez specifically).

So let's not go too far with this.

TKF is right for a day but you know what -- I believe I'm more right in the long run: Our problems are 80% coaching. The pre-Melo team with Gallo and Mozgov was pretty bad and was bad in just the same way that our current team is bad: Because Mike McD'Antoni is a completely horrible, idiotic coach. If we had a good coach, we'd look a lot better ... Gallo or no Gallo, Melo or no Melo.

It's the coaching fellas. The end.

gallinari is better than lopez and gordon

if the 2008 draft is re-done, gallinari is a top 5 lock

you were a gallinari homer then became a gallinari hater the moment he got traded

So being a good dribbler makes you a good athlete?

Thanks for calling me dumb but I think it's dumb & dumber not to be SPECIFIC in where I'm wrong.

Which one of these things does Gallo have that is above average:

First step/quickness
Explosion
Standing jump
Running jump

Tell me which one you think he's better than average at.

If not, tell me what "athletic" ability Gallo has that makes him a good outside dribbler and that gives him guard abilities.

Was Larry Bird an above-average athlete in your opinion? What about Chris Mullen?

Be specific BNO. I'm all ears.

I think this is a false rumor TKF. I don't think Baron ever said anything of the sort.

false rumor.. I heard baron say it out of his own mouth! when asked about his time table, he said it is day by day, he said before he got here he was not sure he would ever be able to play again.... He said it!

all i can say is, maybe he's just trying to suck it up. i don't know. he's taken alot of stupid shots that annoy the **** outta me. for real, but i still think he's hurt.

I said Gallo sucked long before the trade. So like your previous post, you are wrong. Not to be too childish about it, but TKF can vouch for the fact that I had problems with Gallo LONG before the trade. Long before Melo was even in the picture. He can tell you.

So, what can I say, you don't have your facts right.

Fact are kind of important no? Say you're sorry.

Oh and your opinion about him being better than Lopez and Gordon ... well, what can I say. It's your opinion. I think it's one that very few GM's would agree with.
