THE. Contract. Is. Untradeable. The minute you say that is the moment you realize that you can't sign the player to the deal.

If you think 10m should have gotten it done you haven't been paying attention to nba offseasons recently.

God damn, we're screwed. I hate this team's ownership and front office so much. What the hell is wrong with them? They just sunk 4 years and 70 million dollars into a player who isn't good but probably just good enough to "help" us stay out of the top-5 in the lottery. Hardcore (Please Use More Appropriate Word) move.

It'd be nice to have a GM not do anything stupid. I mean even Glen Grunwald in his short time here made that insane Bargnani trade. Mills has been here for like a week and he already has screwed up.

So C. Lee is gone I guess. Cause why would you have this much money tied up in the same position?

Did ya'll see what Mills pulled off?!?! Did ya'll, did ya'll see the move he pulled off?! We got Tim Hardaway Jr! Now we got a beast to throw the ball to so he can chuck shots. Now we got a terrible defender. We got a younger, youthier player to terribly overpay. They scared now!

James Johnson has agreed to the framework of a four-year, $60 million deal to stay with the Heat, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.
The Heat are still trying to shed some salary, so that explains why the terms are not agreed upon just yet. Johnson had his best year with the Heat in 2016-17, turning in career-high averages of 12.8 points, 4.9 boards, 3.6 assists and 1.0 treys. He only started five games, but he's going to get minutes in the upper 20s again. He's a nice target late in drafts.

A basketball team needs basketball players. Tim has a outstanding character and has shown improvement while in Atlanta. I agree on the money being a little too much but if he continues to improve who knows.

A team needs basketball players, but they don't have to overpay for seriously flawed ones.

Also, let's be real, what did Timmy really improve on while in Atlanta?

He's still 1 dimensional. He still doesn't defend. He's still not a great 3 point shooter.

His ability to slash and finish while taking contact for starters. The guy is not a two way player by any means, but his ability to get in the lane and stroke the three give him at least 2 dimensions. And again he has a great character and will be a good leader for the young guys.

Timmy is just a streak shooter. He'll get hot, and then follow that up with a brick fest. What is the basis for him being a good leader for the young guys?

Riley is a clown. It's basketball so mistakes can get covered over, reversed or compensated for -- but Riley is a wild, imprudent and senile spender. He just is.

Knowing us, we trade Lee for a center or something.
