LeBron didn't care if the left the Cavs in a sh*tty state after he left. He doesn't care if he leaves the Lakers in a sh*tty state after he leaves.
But it wouldn't be that bad. The Lakers would have AD. And kind of be gutted.
Works for AD, as if the Lakers can't put a good team around him, he'll force a trade again.
Probably works for LA, as the league will step in and somehow gift them some bounty none of us can imagine right now.
Lets see if Perry bends over to whoever star comes here. If he doesnt, while signing the guy -- then I might consider him to be one of the greatest Knicks gm of all time.
It all depends. In the meantime, I hope he picks up a 2nd rounder by the trade deadline, but I'm not optimistic, only because now they are super adverse to picking up even a few dollars on the cap, but also I think it's always been a little difficult to unload an expiring to a playoff team if the team sending is reluctant to add to the cap, as covered by someone, the playoff team has to have expirings it wants to get rid of and like the player coming back, which reduces odds.
