Kawhi is definitely in the same brain chemistry/on the spectrum/mental health situation that Alex Honnold is. This stuff doesn't register to him the same way it does to normal human beings. The way he responds to figure of speech questions with literal answers is exactly the same. I'd wager if he had the same brain scan that Honnold did it would show very similar results.

Being that talented AND having his brain wired that way is absolutely terrifying as a fan of a team that doesn't have Kawhi Leonard on it.

There's a difference between being a good gardner able to pluck weeds before they get bad, and not growing any at all. A guy like Honnold literally has a mind that can't grow weeds even when the conditions are at their most perfect. They did a scan of his brain and found that his amygdala - the part of the brain that registers fear - doesn't respond like the rest of the human population's. I'd bet a lot of money Kawhi is in that same boat.

Bucks need a better #2 guy...I always thought Middleton was shakey. More "solid" than good. Bledsoe is aggressive but his shooting kinda sux. Gianiss is still the #1 guy I'd want to build around.

You replace Middwlton with a guy like Beal or Bledsoe with someone who could shoot better and they would be almost unbeatable.

Yeah, cuz I don't see them winning in Toronto.

The Weak Freak! You take away his Stretch Armstrong to the rim and he is damned near useless. Who knew a hobbled Leonard was his kryptonite? :dontknow:

That’s interesting. From my learning most fear is just a product of your subconscious and you can choose to say fuq it and change gear. I get what you are saying tho.

This is a completely different thing. You can overcome a lot in terms of fear and every great climber has been able to do that in ways most people can't even imagine. And Hannold is to them what they seem like to everyone else. Hannold can do things that would be easy technically for climbers like Chris Sharma or Adam Ondra but they are unable to submit themselves to that sort of risk factor. Hannold is conscious of the risks but can approach them 100% pragmatically because he never had fear to begin with.

What do you think that number is? Bucks have cap issues.

Two year 15mm/year deal would be tough if they intend to bring back Lopez and Mirotic on market level contracts. I just don’t know why we would want to do it.

I think he could get 80 so maybe 100+ with trade kickers?

I read some from one of the writers on bleacherreport prognosticating where RFA could go and he said to the Pacers on a 4/$64M deal which thought was a little on the low side.

Honestly, I would rather pay Brogdon and another guy than Kyrie at this point. I just like guys who can play with anyone, and Brogdon can play with anyone.
