Bradley was not a bad player. His problem was he came out college expected to be the second coming of Christ and he was not that kind of guy or player.

A promise is a promise. And I promised not to post on the Knicks forum again. yet, I will bend this internal code of mine, since this is a thread wholly devoted to KP for some strange reason. I woke up at 3 am Latvian time just to watch this MSG game vs Mavs and had to be at work at 8. Some people here are really too obsessed with KP. Why? if he is bad, good riddance. if not... Let it go either way. The chants in MSG during the game were beyond ridiculous. One can boo a former player, it is OK. But the whole game and like that? That was pure hatred and vitriol. Coming from some guys who could hardly put their ass..es in seats not to occupy two of them :) And getting personal (no means no, yet nobody knows what really happened except KP and the girl involved, get back to Latvia, ass..hole)? I feel no love for the Knicks FO on this board, particularly Mills. The way he threw Fiz under the bus is absolutely snake behaviour. yet for some KP is a snake. Mills has one way or another been responsible for the whole operation for 10+ years. However, most of you buy the Mills PR story about KP. How come? Is it more comfortable?

Should’ve stuck with your internal code. We’re fans of the team on this side so do yourself a favor and go that way. And you woke up at 3 am to see KP get beat again lol that sucks.

Losing Lin hurt.

Losing KP had nowhere near the same emotional impact for me, especially after we found out about the draft picks. Remember they weren’t reported until a couple hours after the trade was announced. I was almost relieved the FO had the guts to make a decision I knew deep down was probably better for the franchise long-term (I was conflicted as I wasn’t sold on KP and thought throwing him the max might be a colossal mistake, yet I wanted us to keep our homegrown talent).

KP was too cold, too calculated for me to feel emotionally invested the way I was with Lin. Linsanity was magical. KP and his brother were always a bit too political for my taste.

Rooting for a team is by its very nature cartoony. You boo the villains and cheer your heroes. There is nothing particularly rational nor courteous about being a rabid fan of a team for life.

MrOrange knows fans of Manchester are 10X more outlandish and vulgar than NBA fans. There are soccer hooligans throughout the European lands, but the last I checked the actual physical altercations at NBA games are few. In America, you probably need to go to Football and Hockey to find more of that.

So, yeah, booing KP at MSG is part of the drama fans cook up for themselves. You may find it lame, but it really is nothing unique to New York fans.

But anyway, Fk KP

I am completely with you, man, on this. Yet the current record stands at 7-5 vs 3-10, right? And it is all that matters. I spent one year of my life studying in the UK circa 96-97 (yeah, I am an elder citizen here as well). At that time I became a great fan of MU, while the rest of the country hated them. Because of Cantona, Beckham, Solskjaer, Kean, Scholles and many others. It was beautiful and gutsy football (soccer). MU fans really did not spare their feelings about other teams and it was OK and cool. Booing a player is OK as well, but calling him a rapist or a snake is not, because it has never been proven and justifying an extortionist is not cool as well.So is the whole Mills story about why he was traded. I am not even a great fan of KP, I think playing and living in NYC got into his head a lot. And many of you validated it. And certainly got into his both brothers' heads. So, I think that playing the second fiddle in Dallas without the bright city lights is good for KP and his family. This picture, For instance made a lot of Latvians mad, because we hate posers:

About stay woke: I understand that it may have some racist connotations, which I am even not aware of. We do not have a colonial or racist past or present. For me, it means: keep your eyes open.

Personally speaking, I also draw the line at calling people something they haven't been proven to be, so I'm with you on that point.

Otherwise, fk kp

I don't think you will get a very high Dallas pick. But you are in a desperate need for a playmaker: Rubio was available, yet Knicks did not even consider hi, Look at the Suns now. Here is the one I would suggest, current;y ranks around 20 in draft prospects:

Return to New York Knicks
